Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. I agree with this girl. Just as long as the weather is not too hot or humid I'm happy.

    Same here.

We're having breakfast at home this morning before watching the Rangers game, & we''ll be heading out afterwards for a few beers. Thinking of sending out for pizza tonight.

l'm wearing Allure again, because Mr teardrop enjoyed it so much yesterday.

I'm ready for cooler weather here also Jon!

I am having one of those Sunday's where I have absolutely nothing planned - at all. Why is it that I am having such a hard time enjoying that? I mean...there is no reason for me to feel guilty for 'doing nothing' all day. I keep telling myself that...and I feel better now. And when I say 'nothing' I mean of course...relaxing things: reading, playing on BN, making food, getting some sun at the pool, preparing a mud mask, etc.

I am wearing something from Giancarlo's fragrance wardrobe (a gift from me, lol):

    Crandon by Akscent Perfumes

The smell of the 'sea' - it's amazing how he captured it.

Hugs for Shycat + waves to cestrum nocturnum (so nice to see you posting more now!)

I'm an autumn/winter fan. I don't really like summer at all--I like a few days of sunshine, but not heat. It's a lazy Sunday here, too, watching the Fedex Tour Championship. Today I'm sampling Champs Lunaires. It reminds me strongly of EL Tuberose Gardenia.

In spite of my complaining about recent humidity, count me among those who prefer spring/summer over winter! The worst summer day still beats winter anytime, IMO. Like ine, I really love fall as well-just wish it would take us directly into spring!

One thing I do really enjoy living in an area that gets all four seasons and all kinds of weather is seasonal perfume wearing. Today, I'm in VC&A First EdT, which I wouldn't have gone near even just a week ago. Too hot and humid then but today is cool, sunny and dry; First can really shine under these conditions. The constant wardrobe changes due to changing weather are fun!

I like summer, but not the bright summer sun in my face when I'm walking down streets without any trees to provide shade. The sun in US/Canada is just too bright. The summer sun is the worst for me, much more so than actual heat or humidity. This is what I dread -

On the other hand, I just love overcast fall/winter days! I don't really like snow as it is messy, and I can't walk. But the cold, windy, dry days with overcast skies or mellow sun, and temperatures around 5C to -10C (say 40 F to 15F) are my favourites.

    If there's a petition ...

I'm officially spent. Tomorrow, no rocks, weeding, woodchips, etc.

I just showered with the best-smelling floral soap: Bela Evening Jasmine. I'd love to find a perfume so alive. Staying with a floral theme in Le Labo Lys 41.
