Default "Arabian Sandalwood" - what is it?

I recently discovered a (had to have been cheap) essential oil labeled "Arabian Sandalwood" in a drawer, must be over 10 years old by now. It isn't an essential oil in viscosity - it is very thick, clear, and smells like vanillic coconut rather than true sandalwood, although it is certainly sweet. It lasts for days on skin. Is this an attar?

There isn't much info about this stuff anywhere that I can see. Does anyone here use it in creating fragrances? Just curious.

There's no sandalwood in Arabia and it definitely would not have been cheap. It sounds like an attar blend to me.

That sounds like attar to me as well.

Very probably atttar. Is it in cheap bottle? I have this type of oil in my collection and it fits your description, name, notes, longtivity ... I found a long lost bottle of egyptian musk , around 15 years old, it smells as good as new. Its attar too.
