    Continuing with my mini's:

Chanel no1 19 -> Yes, I really like this one. Soft, elegant and just beautiful. While I really liked the fragrance, my wife absolutely loved it so my mini went to her.

Nina Ricci Phileas -> Interesting. I really pick up on the celery note, and I also understand the comparison to Yatagan in this regard. This one is definitely more complex and elegant though. It's a big like, that could potentially turn into a love.

Capucci Punjab -> A really herbal/spicy fragrance that I didn't care for. I don't know what was the note that turned me of, but seeing there is a good amount of pine in here I suspect that is it.

Krizia Teatro ala Scala (EdP) -> This one lives up to it's name without a doubt! What a ride (not quite sure yet, if this is positive or negative, haha), what an opening! A larger than life, diva-esque and theatrical blast of an opening of beeswax, rose, carnation, smoke and what not, that was way to strong for me. On one hand I loved it, but on the other hand I couldn't for the life of me seeing myself going out in public with this on, as this will draw all the attention to you. After a few hours (three/four?) this dried down though into creamy, smokey and resinous goodness that I just loved and lasted a very long time.

Krizia Uomo -> The first green fragrance I actually like. I've tried a few green fragrances now without much success, but this is the best I've tried yet. Probably because I had the feeling the greenness in the opening of this fragrance was not to heavy and counterbalanced by a very nice soapy/barbershop like quality. In the drydown I had the feeling the greenness was not so much that of a pine note (which I don't like) but more green/herbal with a very dark leathery undertone that was actually very nice. After trying three Krizia fragrances now, I have to say I'm very impressed by them. Everything I smelled is interesting, of very good quality and has a distinctive style.

YSL pour Homme -> The citrus in the opening was nice, but maybe a little bit to much on the sour side for me. For the rest, I thought this was just a really classic and elegant citrus fragrance that is very easy to like.

Azzaro pour Homme -> I smelled the current formulation of this scent many times at the mall, and always really liked it. In the back of my head I always thought I would end up with a bottle of this some time. I'm glad I didn't acquire a current bottle though because this vintage version is something else to my nose. Lavender, Anise and other herbs, with (I guess) the oakmoss rounding all this off beautifully and making it really smooth. Comparisons with Aramis Tuscany are easily made, but both scents are individual enough to want both in my collection sometime.

I love minis. You're getting into some fragrances I don't know. I like No. 19 and YSL Pour Homme. I wish Azzaro Pour Homme had more overlap with Tuscany to my nose. I've never bonded with the Azzaro. I have a nice mini of it.

    Outstandig, outstanding!

I hope for you that these miniatures are not tilted! Meant to have been bitter!

Unfortunately mostly, if not always a problem, if such a miniature was open to sniff it!

The Guerlain miniature represents a version from the late 1960s - early 1970s. The time when it was the first version of Guerlain's vetiver. I knew this great E.d.T. still - after xxx reformulations, today a catastrophe...

Or Jacomo de Jacomo - a great scent from 1980!
Today partially offered again - in the same bottle - but with a content that has nothing to do but not at all with the original. Only bad!

Had to take advantage of this, so acquired the following mini's from him for sampling:
Sagamore Lancome, Santos de Cartier, Salvador Dali pour Homme, Capucci Punjab, Nina Ricci Phileas, Balenciaga Porto, Worth pour Homme, YSL pour Homme, Guerlain Vetiver, Jourdan Un Homme, Teatro Alla Scala, Ted Lapidus, Or Black, Chanel No19, Montana Homme, Luciano Pavarotti, Le 3e Homme de Caron, Krizia Uomo, Jacomo de Jacomo, Iquitos, Equipage AS, Boucheron pour Homme, Boss nr1 (5 and 10 ml), Azzaro pour Homme

I'm most curious for Le 3e Homme de Caron, Guerlain Vetiver (already have and love the current formulation), Boss nr.1 and Charles Jourdan Un Homme as I can see those ending up on my FB want list.

I'm sampling some of Earlyn's samples

Trying out the EDT and perfume concentrations of Crepe de Chine. So far they have quite a contrast. I'll see how it develops out.
