I wore Aventus Cologne for church this morning. I’ll reapply this evening for the “big game”.

Viking for the last game of the year! Phun!
It’s tragic to think that heroic man’s great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.

Ah dammit. I should've went with my gut. Had planned on wearing ECC all day, then when I got out of the shower, I called an audible and went with Eau des Baux. Not that this isnt a magnificent scent, but I've worn ECC for football all season. Why switch now??

That was awesome! Mahomes seems like such a good guy. I was rooting for the Chiefs, but when they were down 10 at the beginning of the 4th quarter, I thought for sure the 49ers were going to win.

Yeah, I changed my mind at the last second too and regretted it. I was going to go with Tom Ford Extreme but I went with Interlude instead. Interlude is amazing, but it's louder than I was in the mood for today (and I'm only wearing 1 spray!!! This stuff is nuclear). Ah well. I'm glad the game was great!

This weekend was full of exciting football matches .
Liverpool won and made it 45 games win in a row
Juventus won 2-0 against Bresca and now Inter plays lazio ...the title race is heating up at 3 way tie

Weekend like this is the reason why football is the most exciting sport in the world

Since this is a boring time of year for sports (for me), I was looking forward to the XFL. I watched it for maybe 20 minutes the opening weekend, and for about the same amount of time this past Sunday. That's all I could stand.

Sorry to say, it just can't keep my attention or interest. When you don't know very many players and couldn't care less who wins or loses, it's not even close to being entertaining. And then when you throw in the annoying play calling of the coach in the booth down to the players, and interviewing the players on the sidelines....it's just another reason to change the channel or go take the dogs for a walk.

The first weekend, every game averaged around 17,000 attendance. I didn't hear what it was yesterday. It will be interesting to see if attendance gets better or worse as the season progresses.

I can't stand racing, but there was nothing else to watch tonight so I tuned in. Never saw so many wrecks. And every time they had one, the action stopped for about 15 minutes....which made me remember why I hate racing.

The very end was exciting though. Hope the guy in the big wreck is alright. I heard he is in serious condition, but no life threatening injuries.

I'm thinking of getting a hat just to say I have one...I'm guessing it will go away at some point so it would be nice to have a relic from it. I bought a hat and shirt from the AAF Football League from last year that ended after week six, I believe.

Lol....I know! What an absolute disaster!

I thought the XFL might have a chance to make a go of it....mainly because of WHEN it's played (the week after the Super Bowl until the XFL Championship game on 04-26-20). So....roughly 2 1/2 months....when not much else is going on (unless you're into basketball and/or hockey). And it won't drag into much of the major league baseball season.

And it's also being promoted HEAVILY by Fox, ABC and ESPN. Since there's only 8 teams total and only a 10 week schedule, ALL games will be on television for the entire nation.

There's also an interesting cast of coaches and players, so I thought that might help it survive. For instance, the Dallas Renegades team has former Oklahoma head coach, Bob Stoops, as head coach, Daryl "Moose" Johnston as the GM, and Landry Jones (ex Oklahoma QB) as starting quarterback. This is why I thought it might be something semi-interesting to do on a slow weekend.

What I didn't expect was how totally bored I would be when I tuned in. When most of the players are obviously second rate (compared to the NFL) and you don't care who wins, I found my interest approximately equal to watching Sunday afternoon bowling.

It's possible I'm being too negative about it, but I would be VERY surprised if it lasts. For instance, even the local sports radio stations don't talk about the XFL games during the week. So if the media don't feel compelled to talk about it, I can't see the average football fan caring either.
