Default Looking for something for fall/winter 2019/2020

    Hello everyone

For fall/winter I have got the following scents

    - MFK - Masculine pluriel

    - Tom Ford - Noir Extreme

    - Carner Barcelona - D600 (Almost empty)

    - Guerlain - SDV

    - Tom Ford - TV

    - Roja Dove - Enigma pour homme (small 7.5 travel decant)

So what am I thinking about

I want to buy 2 bottles, one must be office friendly. The other one may be office friendy but isnt a must.

Parfums de Marly - Carlisle, but maybe to close to TV?

Parfums de Marly - Layton ( Or is it to light for fall?)

Parfums de Marly - Kalan ( On my must smell list)

Roja Dove - Sweetie aoud ( On my must smell list) is it really that ' pattisery smell' ?

    Carner Barcelona - El Born.

    Momo Paris - African Leather.

MFK - Oud Satin mood ( Had samples from EDP and extrait (The there is the question about EDP or the extrait?)

    MFK - Grand soir

Frederique Malle - Portrait of a lady. This is the biggest doubt love it but maybe a bit to feminine? Maybe to much for the office?

    CD - Feve Deliceuse

I Smelled everything, if not a couple of times or had samples of them exept Kalan and Sweetie aoud.

Which ones would you pick? Please give me a top 3 for fall and a top 3 for winter please,

    Niche suggestions are welcome

Depends on a lot of factors including what you like, what's your style etc. but I'd suggest -

    early fall

    Geranium pour Monsieur
    Iris de Nuit
    Bois d'Argent
    Itasca
    Egoiste
    Memoir Man

    late fall / winter

    Portrait of a Lady
    Musc Ravageur
    Tonka Imperiale
    Chergui
    Ambre Sultan

My vote, for both season, would be Portrait of a Lady. It's different from the others you have, and it's not particularly feminine. It has some rose, but the structure is solidly masculine.

For the Parfums de Marly, skip Carlisle and Layton and go for Layton Exclusif, it is way better than Layton and it has depth to it that suits fall and winter that Layton is completely void of. Carlisle is overly cloying and very sweet, so only consider it if you really like that kind of thing, it also has a touch of skank to it. (It is better than Tom Ford Noir Extreme though).

Feve Delicieuse will just have you smelling like an old lady, that's all. Forget that one.

I would recommend Chanel Egoiste, Antaeus and Dior Fahrenheit.

As for niche Creed Bois Du Portugal would be a good one to consider.

I would say Grand Soir or African Leather. Layton or Grand Soir would be best for the office though.

This would also be a nice option.

I haven't worn some on your list so sorry for going outside of it too but I think

Hanae Mori HiM EDP covers both Fall and Winter well.

I’m also looking for a new fall/winter fragrance and I believe I’m going with Marly Layton Exclusif and Margiela By the Fireplace
