This is a good one. I wore this in early 90s and loved it so much I kept empty bottles to sniff the sprayer

In 2011 I purchased a bottle direct from Lauder and Im not sure what was off but didn’t enjoy it

Perhaps Fougere Royale, in its original incarnation with coumarin and many other forbidden ingredients.

Haven't tried in a few years. The last version I tried was around 10 years ago. Didn't care for it. Owned the original back in 1985 which was great.

I was about to say regular Polo but you mentioning Polo Sport makes me wish I could smell the original again from back in the high school days.

I’d love to see Chanel and Dior add a proper slug of oak moss back into Pour Monsieur and Eau Sauvage (though to be fair, current Eau Sauvage has a noticeable bit of it). From what I recently learned about actual IFRA restrictions, it was doable all along (and atranol-free moss is now available). If current Equipage can be as mossy as it is, I’m calling out Chanel and Dior for trying to keep these “with the times” more than anything.

Also, anything that relied on real sandalwood, but particularly things like Egoiste, No. 5, etc.
