Default Aramis Tuscony is it better then Azzaro pH ?

I bought Aramis Tuscony and Azzaro pH current version ...both very good both has the same smell going old school stuff ...now from what I read alot folks have issues with Aramis Tus . With performance issues .I'm having the performance as with Azzaro ..it's good , I purchased the green fluid. Aramis is just a greener smell to me it's better if u ask me it's a hard choice to be honest cause I like em both alot.vtg I have never tried them but I'm sure the smell hasn't change much at all but performance which Oakmoss helped alot with that matter ..so what u guys think about Tscony better then Azzaro, cause to me it is .remind I have the green fluid kind , never smelled the yellow ones they have nowIMG_20190915_114211.jpgIMG_20190913_114002.jpgIMG_20190914_124957.jpghere's my Aramis collection so far

I can't speak to performance since I've only smelled current Azzaro and haven't properly worn it, but as far as current versions go, the quality of Tuscany is much higher than the quality of Azzaro PH.

Aramis Tuscany still smells very natural and lovely, moreso than many high-end releases. Current Azzaro PH has suffered more from cost-cutting.

Tuscany is a favorite of mine. I adore its "Italian countryside" feel.

I prefer the smell overall of Azzaro Pour Homme, to me it defines the fresh cleaned just shaved/haircut barbershop fragrance versatile and masculine as they come.

I own 1st Edition Azzaro Pour Homme. I’ve bought backups to it. I never replaced my Tuscany bottle.

    Definitely Azzaro Pour Homme.

Tuscany is a good fragrance and I agree that it smells like it's better blende, of a slightly higher quality than current Azzaro and more subtle. But the lemon and increased herbal elements don't mesh well with my skin. I get almost a sweaty vibe from it.

Azzaro is cheaper smelling, louder, brasher, and yet it has more character and charm in my opinion.

In current form, I prefer Tuscany, which smells more natural (if a bit weak). Current Azzaro is a bit synthetic to my nose.

I think Tuscony is really good and it's a hard choice between the both, but I prefer Tuscony

I'm also going to join you. For what it is worth I only have experience with vintage Tuscany (own a bottle, and love it) and current Azzaro pour Homme (sniffed it many times in the stores, and is something I do want to purchase sometime in the future). The thing with Tuscany is, that it just really does remind of the Italian countryside on a very dry and hot summer day, whereas APH is "just" a really nice smelling fragrance. I think together with Jicky (Provence, France) Tuscany is the other fragrance that I just really connect with a geographical place and is therefore more than just an olfactory experience but also an emotional/nostalgic one.

Hmmmm... I need to spend more time with Tuscany. From my limited experience I got Azzaro PH "Lite" - possibly better for warmer weather? Tuscany had that kinda 'perfumey' vibe - maybe the Aramis house note or something. Currently and personally though the answer is no, Azzaro ticks all my boxes.

Current Azzaro really suffers from cost-cutting and is indeed weaker and more shallow if compared to previous versions. But I still prefer it. Current Tuscany is definitely worse too. It lacks the oakmoss punch and now It's sweeter (less spices) and more aromatic, in a soap, rubber like way... I bought a bottle and quickly sold it. Lost a lot of that spicy Italian smell.
Fortunately, I still have some backups of earlier Azzaro versions and found recently a vintage Tuscany bottle too!

To answer the thread question....nothing is better than Azzaro PH.

We all know it. We just don't all want to admit it.

That is a really tough one.

Not long ago, I would have said Azzaro PH hands down, but my appreciation for the languidly fresh, easygoing, and somewhat dry feel of Tuscany has been growing. I'm a sucker for Italian herbs and simplicity, and Tuscany really scratches that itch.

Azzaro is maybe the more impressive creation and is a great example of an aromatic fougere, but there's a thick, rough "sour" note that can get a little grating for me at times...and sometimes it serves to provide a layer of depth and interest that Tuscany can lack in comparison.

Put it this way: I'm more reliably pleased with Tuscany, but when Azzaro sings, it really sings.
"It's not what you look like when you're doing what you're doing; it's what you're doing when you're doing what you look like you're doing."

Love them both, but if forced to have one, I'd prefer Tuscany. Loved the forte version too.

Forte is nice. It takes that Tuscany DNA and beefs up the dark green notes so you get something much more shadowy and intense. Unicorn pricing abounds, alas.
