    Default Guerlain Observations

This past week my wife and I celebrated our 2nd honeymoon and traveled to Europe. While in Paris we walked over to Guerlain’s flagship store on the Champs Elysee as I wanted my gal to have a perfume as a lasting memory of our marriage. Our Sales Associate, Mathilde, was superb in getting to know my wife’s collection as well as favorite scents. She narrowed the selection down to 2 concentrations of Mon Guerlain, and chose the Eau de Parfum.

Then the 2 women focused on a scent for me, and they asked about my Guerlain faves as well (#1 LIDGE, Heritage, Habit Rouge, Vetiver, etc). After some paper sampling, my wife chose Derby for my skin test. Immediate winner! Secretly I was dying for Derby, and the presentation was wonderful. Derby is very well blended, and is an extraordinary scent. Just a touch of leather detected, and my wife picked up on a hint of pepper. From 3 sprays I got 10 hours of bliss.

Not the the best photo for sure!

In closing, it was readily apparent that we were working with an experienced employee who truly knew her product line, and related her knowledge well to the customer. Thank you, Guerlain organization for the experience.
    Best wishes,

    Chris

Congrats and congrats on the new fragrances. Is it just the pic or does Derby come in a new bottle?

    Is it still like this?

In case it matters, in Spain this year, it was still sold in this particular bottle.

Great rendition of Derby, a scent would already like in any version/vintage and consider as a decisive timeless masculine classic.
