    Default Cyclomethylene Citronellol ?

I can't find much more on this material other than the Firmenich description: Soft clean floral citrus rose — does not give much character of its own but develops, harmonizes individual notes of almost any perfume. And I'm not sure what it actually does (harmonizes, develops how?) nor do I know when to use it, or at what percent. I'm in the dark really. If anyone would care to enlighten me about the this material -- its pros, cons or whether or not it's an important material -- I would appreciate it.

Cyclomethylene citronellol can add body to citrus-floral fragrances composed from powerful materials used in minute amounts.
For instance in a linden blossom accord alongside muguet aldehydes, undecavertol, balanced against rosy materials.
There is not much point adding it to heavy oriental fragrances.

I regard it as an important building block. It's in the sds for many fragrance oils. It can go in anything green, fruity, or with those notes like magnolia and tuberose.

    I quite like it...
I use enough of it, that my first kilo is nearly gone, and I need another.
