It's depressing to think this came out twenty years ago, and is therefore vintage. I still remember this one blowing up the malls.
I was just thinking nearly the same thing over my SOTD, which is on the cusp of becoming a vintage, Mont Blanc Individuel (2003). Time flies.

I thoroughly enjoy Basile as well. I also love Eyetalian food. Not the local stuff but the real deal straight from Eyetaly.

It has about four years left on the clock, but to be honest things become "dated" once the decade ticks over for most fashion-conscious people. someone yesterday said Paco Rabanne 1 Million was "for dads" and I blinked hard.

Si si, it's a beauty! Eye once had a big plate of spaghetti, tomato sauce and freshly grated parmesan cheese in Rome in '88. Very simple dish, and it was the best eye've ever had. Nothing beats the real thing!

I agree. And this coming from someone that’s never been to ‘the motherland’. But my grandmother was 100% Sicilian and my brother has been to Italy and said Granny was on point with traditional cuisine.

I wore D'Orsays this week that were mostly a century old (in design), and those who dared to comment on what I was wearing had absolutely no point of reference for the smell, so what's old is new again after no one is left alive to remember when it was new the first time!

The lettering is some kind of gold leaf, it just looks orange in this light. Very mossy and sharp scent, like old Acqua di Selva or Pino Silvestri.
