I work alone in my office, so anything works there. But nobody chased me out of the restaurant.

PStoller - I think Gucci Nobile would work for the benevolence vibe.

Monsieur Montanta - That's a fine looking Warner Polo spray. I wouldn't mind one of those.

Ciprian - I still need to try Homme de Gres.

SOTD was Canali Dal 1934 not a vintage but SOTE is Capucci P.H. in the triangle bottle. I am not sure which date this is from but is the best of the P.H.'s I have tried from Capucci. I actually over applied! The other ones I have like the brown bottle isn't as strong. This is like a EDP!

I stayed up until the clock ticked over to 14 November specifically so I could wish a Happy Birthday to our own Viscount of Vintage, our Duke of the Discontinued ....

    Prince Papsi !

And I'll honor the royal birthday by wearing something by his favorite (I think) perfumer, Jean Kerleo -- Patou 1000.

May there be many happy returns of the day, Paps, and may there be many more five-dollar eagle bottles of vintage Derby waiting for you in the thrift stores of your future.
