I'm enjoying this as it dries down into the mossy, woody base, but the first hour or so is dominated by a melon-y muguet note that doesn't work for me at all. So, not on the level of Krizia Uomo or Moods Uomo, and this small partial will likely be more than enough for this lifetime. Still curious about Krizia Uomo Istinto.

EDIT: Later in the dry down, the muguet returned with a vengeance. So, this bottle will be going back out into the world at some point soon.

Hednic's vintage bottles have all the best retro fonts. (See: Greenergy)

Imagine Clubman Pinaud Special Reserve (or Bogart Signature if never smelled, but less accurate), add some honey and booze to round it off.

I have had that sour milk accord in many of the fragrances and that does not work for me. Hypernosmic to something. I do not get that accord in vintages so perhaps a newer AC/accord.

In this case I am happy cause Sahara Noir is becoming unaffordable.
I still think Avignon is the incense gold standard. Kamali was bit too much.
Thatís interesting to read. And Iím SO happy that I do not get that accord at all from my SN. Sour milk makes me nauseous, in a very profound way. SN is a top 3 incense for me. Avignon is top 7. Maybe top 5 for me. Iím always intrigued by how differently we all smell things.

My SOTN is Avonís Starring. Rum and spice and everything nice. Very enjoyable evening scent.
Sent from the bayou, using homing gators.

Oh, what a desire I have for this great end-1970s fragrance!

This fragrance would fit perfectly and a great change in this time of the many Oud fragrances.

Unfortunately I only have a miniature.

Cabochard de Gres. A little EDT touched up with a little parfum, for added leather goodness.

Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
