Etro Gomma from a 90's sample.
With a touch of real Civet it comes close to a 70's Chanel Russian Leather.

I pair with Starblind this evening.

Acqua di Selva by Visconti di Modrone/Victor (1949)

Fallen in love hard with this stuff. It's like a lighter prototype of Gianfranco Férre for Man (1986) with sandalwood switched out for pine but still loaded with oakmoss.

For the last day of the Mitsouko centenary. The parfum and EdP have always been too much for me, and I never bothered to buy the fancy metal container for my old plain-jane EDT. I seldom wear it, but it's pleasantly melancholy for a rainy day at home.

My sister gave me a vintage canister, the old basket weave design, so I purchased a Mitsouko refill to put into it. It’s nice to use.

I have oversprayed my scarf with Montana Parfum d' Homme and people are turning their heads on the street . I have to admit it was more than "enough".
On Saturday morning i was told that i smell like "Weihnachtsplätzchen" which means Christmas Cookies in english.
Again MpdH but in the drydown phase i so much adore. (after 12h).

SOTE is my childhood (and still is) heartthrob, Lacoste ('84). A fine citrus woody aromatic with a strong musk and oakmoss backbone!
    IMG_2421.jpg
Just ordered a year-2000 50ml EdT spray of this. From Seller's spot-on description:
"Through a blend of lavender, tonka bean and oakmoss notes, Lacoste created a masculine fragrance that's sure to give you a boost of confidence throughout your day. Immediately upon applying this fragrance, you notice a fresh, rejuvenating scent. As the day goes on, the musky base notes are released, leaving you with a long-lasting, powerful aroma that's sure to capture people's attention."

I never thought about using a scarf that way! However, I definitely do NOT smell like Christmas in my scent of the day:

Undecided right now. I need to see how this transforms (if it does) throughout the day. I wasn't keen on blindbuying this but considering recent Caron news I didn't want to be locked out. Need to get L'Anarchist soon too.
