The local Frederic Malle retailer, Holt Renfrew Yorkdale, finally got their first few Rose & Cuir in today.
Quick sample and 100 ml purchased. This won't be a crowd pleaser but it sure is good, rather unique, and it screams quality through and through. Opens very green, a green that borders on being sharp contrasted with a smooth pepper shifting with geranium, hints of cedar, and ghost like rose accord. Several hours on and some green lingers as the scent continues to evolve. One reviewer comments about a similarity to Le Sillage Blanc as the leather accord. It does hit a phase where the similarity to that Dusita beauty is startling. Looking forward to a few full wearings and getting to know it fully.

Fortunate enough to have some alone time after a full work week. I went on a binge with purchases and bought (2) of each of the entire Herrera Confidential EDP, and EDT line. There is a total of 19 in all, but I got doubles, so 38. One for wearing, one for displaying, or perhaps becoming a back up. I won't say what i spent because frankly, I am embarrassed, but I am also addicted. I feel you can be addicted to far worse things than fragrances right!?

I am now a proud owner of almost the entire Carolina Herrera collection, dating back to vintages, and everything from men and women. I am only missing the Herrera Confidential pure oil collection (if anyone knows where I can find these in the USA, please let me know!). i also picked up CH Kings @ Duty Free last week, before coming home, it's nothing special. It opens up nice with cocoa briefly but then it turns into a mix of everything else you've smelled pretty much.

I also picked up about 200 other fragrances in the last month, most of them still need to be unpacked. I really don't wanna write them all down on here either, but I was pretty excited about the Herrera Confidential line. I've only tried Virgin Mint, Nightfall Patchouli and Vetiver Paradise so far. Vetiver Paradise is VERY good, if you're a vetiver fan, this is a must try. I will be buying a couple back ups when I get around to it.

The modern black sprayer version, been meaning to add it to the fall/winter wardrobe again and with light sprays probably all year!

Also, a second 3.4oz backup bottle of Dior Homme 3 bottles total now price was too good and the fragrance is 10/10.

Eau d'Hermes - won a little bottle of vintage Eau d'Hermes. Didn't have to pay anything for it thanks to eBay bucks.
