    Hello everyone!

Happy belated birthday, knit at nite!

    staticx, you smell great.

kewart, have a good time in Birmingham! Do you drive a motorbike yourself?

teardrop, I loved your vacation photos. Greece is looking great, and so are you!
I haven't tried kleftiko when I was in Greece, but it sounds wonderful. I love gyros and moussaka - a baked dish with potato, eggplant and meat, it reminds me of a much better version of Lithuanian kugelis (basically, a potato pudding served with sourcream, sauteed onions and pork rinds). And Greek salad in Greece is the best. And I liked Mythos beer, too! ...and that starter with melted feta cheese in a pastry...that sounds heavenly. ...I just had lunch, but I feel hungry already.

    I'm wearing Rabarbaro again.

    Good Morning!

    Teardrop

Loved your beautiful pics! You looked so lovely and relaxed... Loved your outfit too!

I will definitely let you know what I think about those books - I was already reading Amazon reviews and I am very much looking forward to experiencing them for myself.

Belated Happy Birthday to Knit at Night I hope you had fun and joyous day!

Jon - I also loved your pic yesterday, soooo beautiful! And I was wondering how the tasting of assorted NZ merlots is going? Is it as much fun as it sounds?

    Dirty Ginger by Heretic Perfumes

I finally got a decant of this one. LOVE it. The combo of the spice and the citrus is perfect. The sort of thing you'd expect Diptyque to release. A solid fragrance - just not for those who don't like cumin.

No, ClockworkAlice, I did used to go on the back of my husband's bike around 10 years ago,
but I am afraid my back arthritis has put paid to that nowadays. I may try the odd, short jaunt, if
    I feel up to it.

Teardrop - I've only just seen your pics of Greece. They are fabulous!

    Hello, fine fragrance friends.

I have a new observation about the dry downs of Opium and Bel Ami: they bear some resemblance to Hove Rue Royale, the inscrutable scent for which there are no published notes. It makes sense that vetiver is in the mix as that's one of Hove's better-known fragrances on its own. Looking at O and BA notes, maybe there's some light-handed vanilla and something animalic like leather or castoreum in Rue Royale.

Today I'm wearing leather from VIP Room.
    I don't want to. I don't have to. You can't make me. I'M RETIRED.
