Default A Niche snob looking for winter fragrances for everyday use

Winter is coming and I'm looking for high quality fragrances for daily use. I own fragrances by areej le dore, bogue, ensar oud and though I find them amazing they are too expensive and not very practical for daily use. I own Creed royal oud and Nicolai new york intense but those are too serious/ classy for daily use as well. Looking for something in the 150$ range , any suggestions?

Look into rogue perfumery, high quality with a palatable price point fine for daily. Something like Derviche would fit the colder temps. Tauers Au Coeur Du Desert works in colder temps and falls in around that price range.

Also adding Chergui by Lutens, Endymion EDC by Penhaligon's, Floris Elite, Creed Tabarome Millesime, Duc de Vervins by Houbigant- each of these on budget and most if not all quite well suited for winter wear, even though the stronger of these perhaps with fewer splashes/sprays

I was going to suggest Musc Ravageur as it is the bees' knees, but it isn't under $150. However, stuff like Chergui, Ambre Sultan, Colonia Leather, Memoir Man or Epic Man are about as good.

Why not just wear the stuff you have and love?

colonia leather might me interesting for me.

    Bentley for Men Intense

    Around $30.

And if that's too simple/synthetic/loud for you,

    Idole edp by Lubin

....which is more complex, has better ingredients, and costs about 5-8x more.

Depends on how much he's looking for. A 30ml bottle of Musc Ravageur is $140.

not every day , not for work. I plan on keeping my rare fragrances for many years to come and that is why I'm looking for something cheaper and more mainstream for everyday
    use

I would just wear your Royal Oud. I don't find it too "classy" to wear dressed down, I've worn it with a tee shirt, I've worn it skiing...

In fact, thats one of the things I love about it, is its dressed up - dressed down, summer-winter versatility.

Wear them when they are in their prime, I’d be worried about them turning.

For everyday use in cold weather something like Eau des Baux is hard to beat. Suggest you to get the whole range (shower gel, aftershave).

You could also look at Egoiste.

Burvuvu from January Scent Project is magnificent. Should be great in cold weather.

1740 is great for winter, IMO. Fahrenheit is classy/challenging and won't break the bank. Egoiste used to be my signature and fall is when it shines best.

really? people today are still using vintage 80's fragrances, do you think my areej le dore fragrances will go bad? I'll start worrying once I'll hear people saying the original ottoman empire is starting to go bad

I've seen you roaming the areej le dore and bogue threads, what are you wearing this winter that is in the 150$ range?

Jeeze man, your name is Robin Oud, you're looking for a winter frag in the $150 range, you OWN ROYAL OUD already... seems like a no brainer to me!!

I just put it on and I'm wearing jeans and an arcteryx plaid button down. Goes great. This stuff is divine! It don't get much better than R.O. especially in colder weather.

    LDDM
    Vanilla Flash by Tauer
Musc Ravaguer (I have a 30ml which is around that price point)
    Shalimar
M7 oud(not wearing it too much tbh)
Anubis by Papillon is a real fav and in the $160 range.

I try to mix it up a bunch and wear the big ticket ones whenever I’m going to be in a situation where I can enjoy them. When I’m not on tour I mostly work from home, so it’s kind of whatever mood I’m in. I’ve found Mousse Illuminee good for transitional weather!

Zegna Javanese Patchouli, more of an autumn fragrance. In your budget and fine for winter as well.
