Post Fragrance That Captures This Mood

    Thread Music theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3yrEEM5j_s

Imagine a heavy raining fall evening. You're sitting there in your cozy armchair, reading poetry while Chopin is subtly playing in the background. What fragrance captures this mood, any recommendations?

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been recommended this fragrance many times before and I’m ready to go for a blind buy (can’t sample it in my location), would you recommend the Encre Noir or the L’Extreme?

I would personally go with Encre Noir. To me it smells of fresh ink and old paper. I find it stoic and comfortable without falling into the morose.

I have general association of Chopin's music with Amouage Lyric and Epic Woman, not this particular nocturne though.

For me, Chopin's Nocturnes always evoke a sense of melancholy in me, and the fragrance in my wardrobe that represents that feeling the best is Nicolaï's Odalisque.

Encre Noire a L'Extreme, because it's warmer than the original, thus could pass as "cosy". To me the original Encre Noire is more of a "I'm out in the cold, gray day or night time".

that Chopin nocturne is indeed melancholy. A pool of gloom.

I would therefore suggest Falling Leaves by Anna Zworykina. I like the above suggestion for Lampblack by Fazzolari. Grev by Slumberhouse.
FYI: I spray all fragrances on clothing, never on skin.
