Would this be a Schimmel & Co american style Bouvardia base? Schimmel made a lot of bases as seen in Fred Winter's book Die moderne Parfumerie.

there are 167 formulas in the 1923 subset to my endowment. Combine those with the Pre WWII formulas that I gleaned from another source, - maybe I should publish them in a book? Granted, many of the German Formulas are fairly short, 3-5 lines, and some are duplicates... and all in German... Hmmm...
But as a second follow up post to this, the amazement continues, with a signed Letter to Perfumer Edward J Strobl, from Elizabeth Arden, in amongst the endowment of formulas...:
