    Default Crappy day crappy cologne??

Today is gloomy rainy day , so I decided to wear Polo Green. At work today..I haven't wore it outside the house lately , it didn't cross my mind how bad has gotten. I mean I sprayed it and went to bed many times ..polo greens performance is extremely poor..it doesn't smell like Polo anymore after the drydown..I had a bottle in 1996 that was the last time I owned polo green. And I loved it 89-90---96 I always stayed with polo and Safari the two was my signature scent that and Tsar at that time when I first spray the current formula and it spells good like Polo once did , then it just vanishes into a poor smell that something like Polo smh well I carried a decant around and spray every 2 hours at least to get my co workers reactions, I got one reaction and she liked the way I smelled but that was 2 mins after I sprayed lol after a few hours I asked her again she nope , we both into Fragrances she understands perfectly how it feels spending money and for a poor cologne ..polo is still pricey , next time I'm just gonna get vintage polo for now on screw that ...what's the best POLO COLOGNE OUT NOW?how's the supreme leather and Oud? And Cashmere

Kinda weird. My Polo performs like a beast. It's a new bottle, bought it last year. Maybe you aren't picking up the notes. Bad bottle? Who knows.
But I've always wanted to try out their Supreme line, especially Oud and Leather.

Maybe cause it dies down really fast on me after 2-3hours I can't even get a skin scent , that first moment when u spray it's very nice , but after it's sad very sad

You may be noseblind from overspraying. There's no doubt new Polo is different, but it's not particularly weak to me when I tested it on skin at Ulta.

I'm not one for leather fragrances, but if you like them Supreme Leather is average at best. Supreme Oud isn't overly Oudy-y and is certainly not a barnyard oud. Still, not something I would wear to work particularly in an office environment. Never tried the Cashmere.

I'm a big, big fan of Polo Blue, in particular the Blue EdP. Very long lasting fresh, citrusy. Ultra Blue is also great but very, very aquatic. Probably not great for fall/winter but for me one of the longest lasting aquatic EdTs out there. The Polo Red series is decent, but not very long lasting. Ditto Polo Black.

I happen to enjoy gloomy rainy days as much as I do sunnier ones. So it sounds more like ‘crappy mindset’ to me. That will inevitably affect the way you perceive or appreciate the things around you incl. fragrances.

Btw I never bothered with the current Polo. Not because it’s terrible but because vintage Polo can still be had for not much more $.

My 2018 bottle performs nicely, maybe a turned bottle or nose blind does anyone around you smell it?

That' what I'm wondering, if you're unknowingly blowing people away with the power. My POLO bottle, with 4 sprays, lasts 12 to 15 hours.

I'm of the mind that the stuff currently sold as Polo "Green" shouldn't even be called Polo. Maybe Polo-lite or something. But I guess if a company (L'Oréal) can still make a buck off something they will.

Maybe stay away from it for a few days. Then give it another try.

Revisited Polo Green a week ago at a mall. Terrible stuff.

Black is currently the best one of the line for me.

Crappy day, great cologne. I'm wearing it today. The mossy leather, patchouli, tobacco combo is untouchable. I'll be enjoying it all the way up till I shower this evening and put on an evening scent.

I’m thankful I haven’t smelled vintage, all this crappy talk is depressing lol current smells excellent to my nose some things are better unknown to a modern nose if you will.

I hope to get a Cosmair bottle sooner that later, but the current is my favorite scent and it's not even close. The quality may not be as good as others. But still, it's....
    NOT.
