    Default International Necktie Day!

What scents are appropriate for wearing with a necktie? Cravats and Black Ties have found inspiration in scent.

A long tie, a knit one? A bow tie? Black tie or white tie and tails? College or regimental stripe? Something atrocious from Father's Day?

Break out your best Charvet or Hermes and share your matching scents! Add those cufflinks, while you are at it!

I would opt for my Guerlain Habit Rouge parfum (or EDP) and my Derby, or my beloved Arsene Lupin Dandy!

My favourite tie is my yellow silk foulard!

Black tie formal for me on social outings with my wife - a luxury feel scent for me like Clive Christian No. 1 Pure Parfum Concentrated Limited.

I usually wear Tom Ford Ombré Leather 16 in formal situations, at least those that are "for pleasure."

But if I were to go "classic," I'd go with Houbigant Fougère Royale.

Depends more on the situation than the tie itself (if I understand this correctly ....), though it'll always be something conservative and understated for me, such as New York Intense, Heritage or Bois du Portugal.

Old school vintage RL Polo to go with preppy white-and-navy regimental tie.

I'm thinking of barbershop related fragrances like Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree, Creed Bois Du Portuga, Vintage Tabarome and Patou Pour Homme

Last time I wore a tie was to see the world cup cricket.
Only seemed right, cream chinos, sky blue shirt, navy blazer and cricket club (stripe) tie.
Fragrance was Lalique PH Lion .

Classic-would most likely go for Chanel pour Monsieur, several vintage Givenchy masculines, several Dunhill scents first released in the 1930 and others from the 80s (but not necessarily vintage), if really wanting to make more formal choices, Knize Ten and/or several classic ADP scents, perhaps also by Hugh Parsons

More modern, trendy and/or updated- again additional but more updated, recent EDPs by Hugh Parsons, Rive Gauche PH, Sartorial by Penhaligon's

Creed Vintage Tabarome, with a nice, white shirt, luxurious silk tie, good quality suit, good shoes to match -- you can conquer the world in this get up.
