Default Best Hot weather fragrance for a person that likes these scents.

I've been collecting colognes for some time now... and the only thing that "WOWED" me was le male, la nuit de l'homme, ch men, all before it got reformulated.
I also have liked Allure Homme edition blanche (it's amazing but it dies too quickly).

I have DandG the one parfum and it's alright but... I don't really reach for it and I have no idea what they hype was about.
Also terre d'hermes eau tres fraiche is just alright... I don't really reach for it.

Dior homme cologne 2013 is two thumbs up, I REALLY LOVE THIS SCENT AS WELL but it dies too quickly.

Loccitane eau des baux is good too.

Love: Le Male (before refor.), La nuit (before refor), Ch men (before reform). Allure Homme Blanche, Dior Homme cologne 2013.

Meh: DandG the one, Terre d'hermes eau tres fraiche

I also have tried club de nuit but I found that it was too synthetic for me... and though I love the dry down, I don't like spraying too synthetic colognes on my skin.
Is there something that lasts a long time and projects well but smells heavenly that hasn't been reformulated?

One that comes to mind would be L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme - that one has tremendous performance
    .
Creed Green Irish Tweed is a solid choice. A bit pricey but if you can afford it, it's a good choice. Performance is decent IMO.

Ya perfumes are good but recently i had tried Pure Fragrance oils or attars or itar mostly used in Middle east and they are without alcohol or any fillers or fixtures but simply just based on pure sandalwood oil for eg.Tuberose Attar,Pure Rose Oil,Aggarwood Oil, Jasmine oil n many are available.
Even one can use fragrance essential oils by mixing them with carrier oils.
    They are not even reformulated.
    Hope it helps.
But truly these attars or essential oil mixed with carrier oils are great.

Have ya tried the normal Dior Homme. Pretty nice iris scent, if it's anything like the cologne I guess you will like it, has great performance.
    Lalique White perhaps
    Polo Blue EDT

Polo Blue isn’t a bad suggestion at all. There’s also CK Escape which just works fine in the current version. I put some on last night and I can smell it more than my current SOTD, which is vintage Polo green.

I would say Kouros, even though it has been reformulated. Still absolutely worth it.

You could also try L'eau d'Issey pour Homme or Grey Vetiver.

Dusita Issara. Very impressed with how this works in recently cooler termps. A pastoral landscape of warmth like Van Gogh's Sunflowers but with Virginia Tobacco and freshly harvested Hay. A fougere but instead of fern it is tobacco leaves and hay bales. Fragrance is in the style of Xerjoff Naxos but richer and deeper.

I would see if Amouage Reflection Man fits as a Le Male alternative.

How about the 2018 Dior Homme Cologne?

This was my first thought when the OP said he liked Dior Homme Cologne. I haven’t tried newer bottles that are rumored to be weaker. Older bottles certainly have beastly performance.

Dior Homme and Dior Homme Cologne are nothing alike. Gourmand iris, cocoa, vanilla leather vs effervescent frozen lemonade and subtle florals.

    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

Also adding Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, Dior Homme Sport, Guerlain Homme Eau Boisee, Best of Chevignon, on the more traditional and even bolder side but with a classic freshness rendered with above average performance - Boucheron pour Homme EDP and/or Lalique Homme EDP (possibly also the perfume series of Encre Noire by the same house)

    Dior Homme Intense should do.
