Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

I will be spending the day pottering around the house, maybe outside as well while I wait for a repair man to turn up sometime today.

I'm wearing Moonlight Patchouli by VC&A.

    Have a good day!

Roberto, it was nice to see that Guerlain family tree! Thanks for sharing.

I contemplated about wearing something fresh, green or citrusy and just grabbed my sample of Cafe Chantant which is nothing like these things. Okay. An understated gourmand will also do, I guess.

Another grateful BN-er for Roberto's outstanding image of the Guerlain family tree. Love it, and thank you! (Also, the Potato Peel Pie Society book has been placed on my "wish list" at the library. I currently have three books out (and two that I had on my Kindle that expired before I got to them!), reading two of them simultaneously, and hanging on to the third despite it being overdue because I am hoping to get to it ASAP.)

Today I'm in Parfumerie Generale Querelle.

I love the weirdness of the caraway in with the well-balanced, more "expected" notes.

Wonderful (if slightly weird) Wednesday to all!

Private Collection - Querelle fragrance notes: Iranian black caraway, Myrrh essence, Cinammon, Rose, Vetiver, Tonka, Ambergris, Oakmoss, Incense.

    Hello all,

I’m layering Tom Ford White Patchouli and Champaca Absolute today. Now I wish I had sprayed on Heritage!

Last night, I fell flat on my face while on a exercise walk with Mr. Lark. I plan to visit the doctor and dentist to get checked out. But first, I have a prepaid reservation to hear a talk this morning by adventure/humanitarian traveler Leon Logothetis. Priorities!

    Have a good day.
