    Default Hello!

Hello! This is my first time posting and I'm hoping I could get some help finding a new fragrance.

I'm 24 and hoping to get some recommendations for a scent I could wear to work (in an office), in the fall/winter, something that would attract compliments.

I'm not exactly sure what I want. Maybe something feminine? Something that fits my age?

I would say that I wasn't really attracted to sweeter scents before, but now I'm open to anything and even looking for a change.

Here are some of the perfumes I own and have used:
Commodity Bergamot (Recently been using this one)
Jo Malone Wild Bluebell (I used this a lot in January and early spring, but this doesn't last very long)
Korres White Tea Bergamot Freesia (I have purchased this twice and wore it a lot in past summers, but it didn't last long either)
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White (I wore this a lot in college and used up a whole bottle. But after I bought a second bottle, it smells weird now, a little nauseating?)
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon (I liked the sample, purchased a rollerball, but haven't found myself reaching for it)

Not sure if it'll be helpful, but I have tried Si Passione and liked it better than Si and Si Fiore.

    Thanks!

I don't know much about the perfumes you listed - I'm still learning.

I like some of the old, established houses (Chanel, Guerlain, Dior, Hermes, Givenchy) and some artisan startups (Rogue, Spirit Bear), with Parfums de Nicolai and Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier somewhere in between.

One perfume of particular interest is Guerlain Mitsouko, a classic, peachy, oak moss fragrance, great for the office and for personal aromatherapy. You can get the older version (with the older style of box) on eBay for decent prices, about $50 for 50 ml.

    Welcome!!!

    # 1 - smell is gender neutral, so don't get into masculine // feminine etc.
    # 2 - if you're looking for 1 fragrance, this is not the place for it, here, we talk about how many back up bottles, total volume you have etc
    # 3 - spend wise, if and when you get into buying - splits are a great way and online discounters, instead of shelling full cost at retailers.

    L'Heure Bleue is really nice.
Itís tragic to think that heroic manís great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.

Have you tried Jo Malone Basil & Neroli? It's absolutely lovely--I think it's worth a sample. About as versatile as you can get, really
