Default Similar to Paco Rabanne PH with better performance?

Other than getting vintage (which I'm keeping my eye out for), what's on the market now that is similar to Paco Rabanne PH but has better performance? I absolutely love it but it dies so quickly.

Interested to hear anything, but would only consider purchasing something under £100 and from the UK.

Get this (in other words, go vintage - no issues with performance) -

Apart from specific vintage versions of this one, likely also, in no particular order with at least some remote, partly resemblance to this one:

Hugh Parsons Hyde Park, Bogart Signature, Van Cleef & Arpels PH and/or Tsar, Loewe para Hombre, Knize Forest, Felci by l'Erbolario, Guy Laroche Horizon, Duc de Vervins and/or its'l'Extreme Flanker, Givenchy Green Energy, vintage but also current Quorum and/or Agua Brava by a different brand than Paco Rabanne yet owned by the same company that currently owns Paco Rabanne.

Most if not all of these also likely to be on budget.

Two cheapies come to mind: Worth Pour Homme and Azzaro PH. Both very close to it in my opinion especially Worth.

For the same geranium/soapy woods vibe, is also suggest C&S No. 88 and Equipage Geranium by Hermes.

As already said, try to find a vintage bottle to get the longevity you are looking for (I get more than 12 hours with my pressurized vintage bottle of Paco Rabanne pour Homme).
Have you tried Patrick by Fragrances of Ireland ? It has some similarity (I say some...) with Paco Rabanne pour Homme and longevity is good (not outstanding but very decent).

Vintage is the answer, one fragrance that stands on its own and is unique.

    I was just thinking this
Worth has some of the green, but its a lot more "buttery" & leathery. Much smoother and not as sharp as Paco. New version might be closer to Paco though? The HC version is definitley close to Paco.
You could try Patrick ( but its pretty light going) .
@Rum funny you say that about EG - I'm just now getting some resemblance - EQ has a soft lathery soapyness with a the Paco green dialed down.
Tsar would be my choice - has a icy cool vibe compared to Paco - and might be a difficult to acquire now at reasonable prices.

It's a tough one! Paco is one mean green!

Agree with the vintage if you can find it and will add to check out Great Jones by Bond 9

PR-PH was supposedly the inspiration for Great Jones

I would always get Worth Pour Homme vintage before Paco Rabanne vintage.

PR PH has become chic and desirable because it is no longer the common ubiquitous fragrance of the 80's. Yes it was good, but Worth in the same genre beat the cotton socks off it , absolutely no competition.

As for comparisons with Azzaro PH. Perhaps the vintage, but I wouldn't know. I sadly have a current formulation from Walmart which I spray to remove the odor of cat piss from my bins outside. Dreadful stuff. Awful. Chemical hairspray. Horrible.

As others have noted, vintage is the way to go.

An alternative? Patrick by Fragrances of Ireland.

Another that sits closer to vintage Brut but may fit the bill is Sartorial by Penhaligon’s.

    Lol yeah!
I'm sporting it today and gosh golly good gum drops! Its phenomenal. Soft greens, a little soap, suedey leather, buttery moss... never shouts , just a solid and pretty impeccable refined masculine. For a while when I first got it, I thought holy grail, other frags be gone!
Might take a punt on the new version to see what its upto.

To me, and I’ve never seen anyone else mention it, Kiehl’s Original Musk edt is similar.

Yes worth ph in the green bottle is the closest smell to me also, Azzaro vintage or not smells totally different to Paco

I'd risk my hand in a meat grinder to get hold of a vintage bottle of Worth PH. No idea what prices they go for now, but the modern imposter is nothing like, not even a pale cousin thrice removed. Awful pale shadow, emasculated cat;'s p#ss. Second time I've mentioned feline micturation today, I'm really on a roll. For Worth, Vintage only,,,you know that.

And yes, modern Patrick with all its lovely oakmoss, in drydown is very similar to the vintage Paco. But better. I wonder how much people are paying for vintage Paco now? I'd get the Patrick for $30 instead.

You can find similar perfumes, for Patrick.
But you will not have the quality and performance you get with the vintage.
In my opinion try to find a vintage bottle.

This is the second version from the 80's but still very very ok!
