Helmut Lang Eau de Cologne (2000)
I have both the 2000 and reissued 2014. But this is the 2000 formulation in the original bottle. I’m down to mLs and that’s kinda sad. However, back in the Autumn of 2009 I scored a great deal on 25 samples of EdC and 17 of EdP, each in their original packaging with, yes, their little toilettes.
I could never put this entry into the “Today I’m particularly enjoying...” thread because that would be a false flag for me. It’s disingenuity due to the fact I’m always enjoying this so, so much. Every time, beyond the realm of “particularly” in the sense it could ever be an “Oh yeah” standout from any other time I’ve worn it. Helmut Lang EdC changed the fragrance game for me personally.
The 2014 reissue isn’t bad, just a hair away. However, I might give the 2014 reissue of EdP a few hairs up. Why? - because (for a male anyway) it feels lifted more into a natural unisex territory. Definitely less of a feminine bent, to the point I would suggest those who are comparing the 2014 EdC to the EdP to give requisite attention to both in their testing.

Now I’m enjoying a sample from Prin Lomros, Called Maruyama:
Maruyama 丸山 is inspired by the my visit to a herb and flower garden in Sapporo, Hokkaido Japan during summer period
With blending the aromas of plants and flowers which was collected on that day.
—
It is not floral particularly. I like it. It has incense and some herbal notes that are very nice. Must wear it again. It will be part of a new line of all-naturals so longevity not great.
FYI: I spray all fragrances on clothing, never on skin.
