    Default The 1-Month Challenge?

    Salutations!

I recently returned home, but as I was overseas, I packed just one fragrance with me, Cartier Pasha. I wore it most of my time in Europe, and when I got home, all I could smell was Pasha in my luggage. I wondered, could I do this for 1 month? I just did it for 2 weeks..well almost. I did sample a lot of other stuff during fragrance shopping. With just the idea of 1 bottle in my luggage, and the rest from my shopping, on a private planet back to the estate, I pondered. Can it be done?

So my question to everyone is, can you do it? Wear the same fragrance for 1 - month? I don't think i can especially not when home. Things are too tempting, and my 3rd floor is a fragrance museum. I have well over 15,000 bottles. Could I just pick one? Which one should I wear for a month?

Could I? Sure. Would I? Not right now. Maybe down the road, when I go from growing to parsing the “library.”

Pass.. what's the point? Self control? I'm already doing that by not eating fast food. I don't need to limit my fragrances.

If ever joining this challenge, it would have to be a fragrance would gladly consider a good everyday signature scent- so far, the fewest would qualify and although there few but convincingly good close calls, personally still reluctant before finally taking the challenge
(this might however change if one or more fragrances convince me as appropriate day to day choices, even steadily worn during an entire month)

I never have worn the same perfume every day for a month, even when I had very few perfumes. I would skip days back then! I would wear the same scented deodorant stick every day for a couple months until it ran out.

Now, I suppose I could do it, and that I'd enjoy it. I often wear the same fragrance two or three days in a row. I could go with a favorite (Givenchy Gentleman, Christian Dior Jules, Balenciaga Ho Hang Club, Chanel Antaeus) and wear it every day for a month, or even until I emptied a bottle. Theoretically speaking, of course - I'm not taking up the challenge.

Never mind... I can’t make myself do it. I woke up this morning in a cloud of Terre d’Hermes Vetiver and now that’s what I want to continue wearing. I do think that eventually I might spontaneously wear a single fragrance for a month. I’m open to it and find the concept appealing.

I drastically cut back on fast food a few years back. The positive effect that had on my life still amazes me.

About wearing the same scent for an extended period of time: I've done that a few times. The benefit for me was I felt like I was getting to know the scent in a deeper way.

Honestly, I have no desire to wear the same fragrance everyday.

Azzaro Pour Homme is one that’s comes to mind, I wear it 2-3 times a week so all month would be doable I do prefer a different fragrance daily though.

I agree, both short and long term. I have so much more energy.

I've worn fragrances for up to two weeks at a time. If I were to take on this endeavor I'd probably go with one of my dumb reach picks. I can't envision myself doing this anytime soon.
