Default Change at top of Dior parfums

Will this have any impact on Dior Parfums? Or more a role based on marketing and distribution?

    Sorry if already posted

Well, looks like they'll be re-branding "Sayvage."

Change can sometimes be good. I guess we'll see in time.

We'll have to see. In the immediate future, I think the course will hold.

    Ha!!! I saw that too!

Actually, based on that alone, I don’t view any details in the article as valid. Regarding the main point, I’m not sure how I feel about the Coty exec taking over. It’s a bit concerning for me. Will DIor fragrance quality seem to go down? I think it’s time I purchase backups of a favorite or two.

You’re a card-carrying BNer. You don’t need excuses to buy backups...

Haha! True. Maybe I’ll use this instead as an excuse to purchase DIor fragrances that I’ve only kept small decants of because of them not falling in my favorites category - like DHI. But unfortunately I will seek out early editions (likely) which will be grossly overpriced. But let’s be real, a collection should have it anyways right? Maybe I just need to get “collection” out of my mind and go back to a far less expensive small wardrobe?

I'm pretty stuck in the mode of only original formulation purchases, regardless of the inflated pricing it may bear. Regardless of the changes Dior can't bring back the years of 2008, 2007, 2005, 1988, 1980, 1966.

That’s a tough road to travel but it can be very rewarding. I’m almost there. I look for original release first and then decide what I want based on scarcity and/or price.

I'm going to go the foolishly optimistic route and hope this inspires them to put out an Eau Sauvage Parfum again and maybe a new Fahrenheit flanker.
