Default Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua.. 2015?

    Hi folks,
I've got a rare find today, I think. I got Invictus Aqua with batch code 53071 which is from 11/2015, but as far as I know Aqua was released on 2016? Or was some late 2015 as well?

It's not a fake. Box, bottle, atomizer, writing, everything checks. Only batch is a little confusing to me.

Mind that I didn't smell Aqua nor Invictus, but this what I got is a strong aquatic stuff, you can smell the sea right from the bat. Had it for two hours and it's projecting quite heavily from one spray.

    Thanks Hednic, surely will.
Is it possible though that it was produced late 2015 as well?

Google " Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua 2016" and click on Images.

From the colour of the logo on the box, it seems you got a "tester".

There seem to be a few websites that sell so-called "testers" of very expensive niche and designer fragrances at very low cost. They're usually based in Russia, Poland, Malaysia etc..., and for me that's enough to pass on the deals. But I don't know anything about them.

Based on the smell you described, it's quite possible that you have a genuine tester though.

[EDIT]: actually, the darker colour of the logo on the image could be the lightings. It does seem to be a genuine logo when compared to fakes.

It was announced in what... December 2015 or so? Think about it, when a fragrance is released in January, that doesn't mean they all FIRST start getting produced in January. That'd be kinda dumb; unless it's small scale or super efficient or something.

This is common practice. If something is released in April of X, it's not unreasonable to find (especially at first release) batches for March/February.

Fragrances should macerate in order to 'bloom' their aroma. Sometimes a few months.

Like chili is better the day after you make it.

Thank you all for your answers.
@Maxtesti - it's actually from a good source and you're right it is a bad lighting. I think testers are always marked and this bottle isn't.

However I must say I put a bid on ebay once on Diptyque Oud Palao just for a hell of it and won it... From a Russian seller, and I actually got a unique one for around 30 bucks. But I won't test my luck again..

This Invictus Aqua is another great find along first batch of YSL Frozen Cologne, longetivity and scent are quite impressive

The testers all have it written on the box; here a (most probably) genuine one:

    and here a fake:

Almost written correctly by the counterfeiters!
