Default Habit Rouge EDT and LŽEau

    Hello,
I own Habit Rouge LŽEau and I really really like it; that is why Im thinking in blindbuying the EDT version.

    Two questions:

    - żWhat is the difference between them?

    - żAny recommendations where to buy the EDT online?

    Thank you very much.
    Best,
    BruceB

For me, the EDT is woody and the L'Eau not at all.

L’Eau is a modern re-working of HR. The EdT harkens back to another age of perfumery. It isn’t a fragrance that blends in with the crowd; it’s a big old dusty (not powdery, dusty) lemon, rose and smooth leather affair. I like it, especially the drydown, which I think is just superb. But it is not many a man’s cup of tea. I’d say you will need to be partial to ‘old-fashioned’/dandy fragrances to enjoy it.

Worth checking out in my opinion, L’Eau focuses on rose and the EDT adds citrus and allows the full experience of Habit Rouge. Both are worth owning imo and glad to have both in my wardrobe.

Habit Rouge EDT has a sweet citrusy opening with florals that is over a woody base.

I own the L'Eau as well as the edt and edp (vtg) and the L'Eau works perfect as well on warmer days. It is a more modern interpretation of the edt imo.
I also sometimes add 1 spray of the edt which enforces the L'Eau.
My Top '11' of main current rotation in no particular order:

    - Paco Rabanne: Pour Homme (vtg)
    - Antaeus (vtg)
    - Azzaro: Pour Homme (vtg)
    - TF: Ombré Leather
    - Cartier: Santos edt (vtg)
    - Al Haramain: Excellent
    - SA: Shaghaf Oud Abyad
    - SA: Al Basel
    - D&G: Pour Homme (vtg)
    - Mancera: Red Tobacco
    - Mancera: Aoud Vanille
