I wasn't that impressed with my sample of Evening Edged in Gold that
arrived yesterday. It wasn't how I remembered it at all. I wore it last night but
could hardly smell it on me.

I am wearing Ambre et Vanille today, which I can smell quite strongly.

No frag yet. But being on the couch, entwined with the dog and with DH out deer hunting, I finally have time ro read recent sotd threads. I've been MIA as my brain was eaten alive by email overhaul--converting every single addy and password initiated over the past 25 years into new ones going forward. All accounts for shopping, banking, retirement, insurance, medical, software, and social contact got updated and then charted for family to make sense of. I may just fall into a tv-watching coma now.

Cook.bot, kitty craziness is the reason I adopted an adult cat. Many years ago one of my kittens leaped off the top of a bookshelf onto my head and dug in all 20 claws to stay on. I've never forgotten it

Holy crap. My brain just amplified that nightmare scenario: imagine if you'd been asleep when he did that.

I’m still dealing with puppyhood. My next dog will be at least 2 years old.

The truly reasonable approach. My new guy wasn't really my own idea. He was a tiny refugee that showed up begging on my back porch a couple months ago, barely 8 weeks old. Couldn't turn him away, and my oldest cat had just died, so it seemed like kismet.

Will comply if I can ever get him to stand still for more than two seconds.

Forced myself to forego the Tea For Two today and teed up (haha) the Sycomore. It absolutely glows in this cold weather.
