Talking about November, I don't think we have ever had such a warm November - we usually had snow on this date, and just a light leather jacket is still enough. I do appreciate warmer weather *here*, but on a bigger scale of things it's scary.

One of my kittens got my bottle of vintage Shocking and beat the piss out of it. In other words, the glass stopper came out and I need to stay at a hotel for a few days. I had worn Salt Caramel yesterday and kept getting intense whiffs of something--wrist to nose, wrist to nose, many confusing thoughts. Then suddenly, OMG.

Oh no Shycat, I am sorry you had such a shocking Shocking kitten collision.

Reglisse Noire for today. This is one of the most "me" scents in the world, but absolute nonsense in the summer, it is cloying and awful in hot weather (which is most of our weather) but in the cool air today, so awesome. It's super light, not loud but has throw - sometimes it smells like it's coming from somewhere else - and persistence.

Our city made the national news yesterday. Fortunately, it's for wonderfully silly news about a turkey that stalks a mailman daily. And I know him! Not the mailman. The turkey. I drive through that subdivision near our house, and he's quite the confident tom who will stride right along with our truck.

Foxbins, I can imagine it was pretty disturbing to learn about losing that much height. Best wishes.
