Short of it is, do you feel they're worth it?
I mean yes its a nice little luxury to have, undoubted ingredients. But worth it? I was fortunate to be gifted th 4 x set ( rhubarb, citron, rose and cologne neroli). The cologne is again undoubted in quality, but I think these are like £100 / 4x15ml .

Do you mean Hermes scents in general or are you asking about the ones you've listed in your gift set?

I find that the mainstream Hermes range is reasonably priced but not the exclusive range. The standard ones are fairly easy to find at a huge discount and they do appear on discounters from time to time, airport duty free and others.

Cheers yeah the 'colognes' - nice enough - but for me can't justify £100/60ml of cologne!
The 'normal' high street fumes- TdH no complaints as with the more exclusive/expensive i.e Bel Ami, Equipage - top notch quality 'n' performance - definitely worth £70/80 for 100ml of these beauts!

Think the cologne line is really good and reasonably priced. The (more recent) ones in your set are not the best examples in the lineup.

Naturally buying them as miniatures as part of a gift set is not the best way of achieving value for your money.

Of those “colognes” I only like the original, called both Eau de Cologne and Eau d’Orange Verte, in its various reincarnations. I would only pay discounted prices and use it as a summer ‘fling,’ a little affair you go through in a few weeks to refresh. I mentioned Artisan Pure in the same manner in a different thread.
One thing I don’t really like about the Hermes is the dry down which is a little antiseptic, too sharp and clean on me.

Eau de Néroli Dorè is one of the worst fragrances I have tried. I couldn’t believe when I read it was a JCE’s. I have to try it again. Despite I tried it twice the day I tried it to believe it was that bad and it was an Hermès, I will have to try it again. I’m still not believing what I tried. I think the tester was not ok.
This set you are talking about doesn’t have one of my favorites from this lines: Eau de Gentiane Blanche.

Neroli Dore not that bad. Quite honest neroli, though not refreshing as we used to.

Especially considering the set and also considering the variety and performance of the fragrances included in the set (incidentally, not just personal Hermes favorites, but also favorites in general among fresh, EDC style scents) definitely considering the price-quality/value for money ratio worth it.

Even if the bottle sizes may seem on the smaller side, they do perform and last well enough to compensate for being on the apparently pricier side.
