    Happy Friday!

Today I'm wearing just a few light dabs of Black Opium.
This week was very busy and there seems to be no end, since I have to attend a birthday today and my childhood friend comes to visit me for a weekend tomorrow before noon. I still have to clean my home for her visit - I wonder should I come back early from the party today and tidy up in the late evening or try to get up early tomorrow. Both seem hardly possible. I'm still looking forward for her visit though.

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

Good morning all !. Wet and windy outside so we will be joining teardrop and getting cracking with our tree and decorations

Today's synch nose (Roucel) is not among my favourites but I do still have a few options, one of which will be this evening's choice. For the meantime - Monsieur Lanvin.

    Morning all!

ClockworkAlice, it sounds like you've taken on a lot! l'd say just do the minimum amount of cleaning, & enjoy the party & the visit from your friend. Make fun a priority!

lt's turned wet & windy here, but l'm staying in to put up the tree, wrap some presents & maybe write some Christmas cards today.

l'm sampling Basile by Basile today, from a vial sent by a swap buddy.

Our tree has been set and decorated last weekend. Most of the Christmas gift purchases will happen today and into this weekend. I plan to avoid any last minute shopping. Shopping centers and malls are the craziest during the final weekend and days leading up to Christmas.

Thumbs up Re: SOTD: Friday, 6th December, 2019

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. I too have family visiting at the end of next week -
all four of my sisters are staying for the weekend.
I am super organised for once and have the bedrooms
ready and prettified, buffet planned and restaurant booked
    for the Saturday evening.

No synch for me today as I am having a Versace Blonde moment.

Happy Friday, all - And wishing wonderful times to all of you with family/friends visiting, and holiday organizing plans! We're getting ready for our annual New Year's Day open house, which is always very crowded, but that's part of what makes it joyful for me.

In sync with Lolita Lempicka L. There's a powdery, chemically element in here that I haven't noticed before and am not fond of, but the sweetness and warmth are nice in this weather. I'll probably switch to New Haarlem later.

    Have a fabulous Friday!

L fragrance notes: Bitter orange, Cinnamon, Immortal flower, Vanilla, Precious woods, Solar notes, Musks.

K de Krizia (1980, Maurice Roucel) for the Friday Sync. So very, very old-school. The avalanche of aldehydes and inscrutable green florals are reminding me a bit of Ivoire de Balmain, which is high praise in my book. Jon, you might want to give this a try; it might soften your heart toward Monsieur Roucel.

Kewart you have as many sisters as I have daughters! I remember a chinese man telling me that 5 daughters was very lucky. He was very enthusiastic, I said I had four but he said no, you need another, FIVE DAUGHTERS LUCKY! I ended up with 5 through marriage, eventually. And have been reasonably lucky.
