Default RIP Mr Ungaro - a tribute thread

Emanuel Ungaro passed away yesterday. A brilliant alumni of Cristobal Balenciaga, who will be missed, RIP Mr Ungaro.

Please share anything you would like to pay a tribute to this major designer. Which of his fragrances do you like the most?

Thanks for this thread. I enjoy the original I / II / III series. I am not familiar with the newer formulations, so I cannot comment on them.
I also like Desnuda. Very underrated, it's a richer, warmer and creamier version of the classic womens Dune from Dior. I also like Diva Rose.

Yep, vintage Diva would be right up your alley, Jon. I wore it a lot back in the day. It really was a Diva of a perfume.

Wow, we lost Lagerfeld at the beginning of 2019, and Ungaro at the end. Very sad news.

A legend of 20th century design. I recently acquired the original UI/II/III, and enjoy them all, especially the first. But I was an admirer of his work in fashion long before. RIP.

Ungaro II and Diva are among my favourites from this house even if the latter proves a little too bold for my tastes. Farewell, Emmanuel Ungaro.

Ungaro III, and anything that reminds me of it is an instant like. It's one of the few scents that would make me want to follow someone down the street just to smell it

RIP Emmanuel Ungaro. So many magnificent scents, with a reason.....
Remember it, Ungaro Perfumes were created by Chanel until the dismission happened in 1993. so these perfumes are @really@ precious.
Keep with you your ancient bottles of Ungaro pour Femme, Diva, Ungaro I, Ungaro II, etc., since they are highly-valuable "Chanels in disguise".
