If, I were going to buy another or so, I'd go for vintage: K de Krizia, Teatro Alla Scala by Krizia, or La Nuit by Paco Rabanne.

You need a revolution if you wish to progress. No matter what you refocus on it is the same fundamental actions. If you think those actions are inappropriate with perfume it is then inappropriate for anything. Consumerism is not identity. Your small consumeristic idiosyncrasies are not what makes you an individual. Enlightenment is not found in anything bought, but rather something given.

Yes, true about consumerism, but a love of perfume (or other things) can go beyond consumerism into other realms that have deeper significance.

That's the plan actually. I got 2 out of 3 on my short list and I'm going to pick up the last one by next week. And I wanted to go out with a blind buy online. So 2 more. I'm just ready to move on. I've smelled so many scents that I'm jaded to anything that isn't exactly what I like. But if I do like it, then it's already redundant.

I got in the game with a specific purpose (finding a certain type of scent) and I found it after a few years. I put off buying it for almost a year because I figured that I'd get out of the game that much faster, but the longer I drag this out the more I'm turned off by this hobby. I've raved about these before... Jovoy - Remember Me (finally got it) and to the OP... Tonka Imperiale which is 90% similar.

    I like this approach.
lately I haven’t bought much and nothing is really calling to me, and recently I’ve started to suspect that if I give up this hobby it might start kind of like this. A slow loss of interest with slowing purchases, followed by less time on the forum and decreased sampling, until one day, without me even really realizing it, I’ve abandoned this hobby.
on the other hand, Instagram had pitched me headlong deeper down the rabbit hole of my tea hobby and reignited my interest in trying so many new things, so I could see myself abandoning fragrance to concentrate my time and resources on tea and teaware more.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.

If you haven't already, order some sencha and genmaicha from Thes du Japon. The quality is far better than anything from Shinjuku Isetan

I love their teaware as well.

Givenchy Ysatis, maybe. Or a Chanel Cuir de Russie backup.

In the last few years, I've bought an alarming amount of perfume, so I don't really need anymore, and it would be no sacrifice to live with the current options.
