After soul searching, here are the bottles I’ve pulled out for March.

    31D8C544-A0C3-45E2-A24F-E8C7B7BEBB3D.jpg

Egoiste Concentree, Moschino Pour Homme, and Fahrenheit are carry overs from last month.

I think this is the first ever rotation appearance for Je Suis Un Homme. It's also fairly rare for Habit Rouge.

I could finish three bottles this month.

I'm more into sampling than anything, though, so some of these are only going to get one or two wearings, I predict.

Continuing the theme of wax, dust, powder, and resins into March, until the Spring Equinox, with the addition of fougeres and greens - FBs : Piguet Casbah; CdG Avignon, Etro Heliotrope; Etro Ambra; Lalique Encre Noire Samples : Anatole Lebreton Grimoire; Tauer LADDM/ACDD; Papillon Angelique; Dior DHI; Unum LAVS; Penhaligon's Sartorial; Knize Forest; Piguet Futur. Very tempted to buy Aramis Devin for spring.
from May Eve to Midsummer : with leathers, greens, fougeres, and a few florals. Guerlain Vetiver; Etro Gomma; Palais Jamais and Dianthus; Hermes Equipage Geranium; Aramis Tuscany; first wearing of the year for Penhaligon's Juniper Sling; Caron Yatagan; Knize Ten, Sec, and Forest; Puig Quorum. Sampling : Aramis Devin; ELdO Eloge du Traitre, Fat Electrician

My fragrance rotations in 2020 will be numerous, very diverse and unpredictably random whether it be daily, weekly or monthly.

Updated my March rotation to better suit this year's weather.

My All Year Round perfumes that I want to wear at least a couple of times per month are:
    Eau Rose by Diptyque
    L'Instant Magic by Guerlain
    Moonlight Patchouli by VC&A
    No.19 Poudre by Chanel

My Autumn 'tried & true' perfumes that I will want to wear during all 3 months are:
    Daim Blond by Serge Lutens
    Ginger Biscuit by Jo Malone

    March Rotation scents:
    Coco EDT by Chanel
Myrrh & Tonka by Jo Malone
Raw Silk & Red Roses by 4160 Tuesdays
    Samsara EDT by Guerlain
    Stash by SJP
    Tubereuse 1 Capricieuse by HdP

I've replaced Mon Guerlain EDP Intense and Orris & Sandalwood with Coco EDT and Myrrh & Tonka.

    Is that a vintage Lutens?

I've been really enjoying Iris de Nuit recently.

I've been thinking about mine. I might make an afternoon project out of it.

I should be able to sync on any Coromandel, Miss Dior, or Iris Poudre days. I'm not positive I can find Iris Poudre - I might have finished my sample.

I'd love to have an April rotation, but can't decide. Can anyone suggest me 5-6 perfumes from wardrobe for April? I'd decide based on the suggestions. Here's the list, please ignore the ones marked to be on swap list.

    Thanks!

With many of us stuck at home, now is the time to go bold!

Personally, my rotation is not determined on a weekly or monthly basis, but rather, it is anything that I own. At any point in the year, any fragrance is fair game. I also never have more than a few bottles at a time anyways.

I have a big, sprawling out-of-control collection, so narrowing it down to something smaller periodically makes it seem nicer and more orderly. And it's fun in the same way rearranging furniture can be.

My May rotation is a combination of Muglers and fragrances by L'Artisan Parfumeur:

    Alien
    Aura
    Cuir Impertinent
    Patchouli Patch
    Timbuktu

That's what is out on my tray but I'll feel free to get another from the cabinet if the spirit moves me. I'll get my little Angel star refilled if Bloomindales opens back up next month. That would constitute a Grand Occasion.

Having a 'finish focus' on samples/decants that have been around for a while. So far, I've finished off a decant of Fahrenheit, and a sample of Messe de Minuit (which now smells to me like a gourmand - orange, chocolate/patchouli, with the sweetness of myrrh). Aiming to use up samples of Piguet Futur, ELdO Fat Electrician and Je Suis Un Homme, Bottega Veneta EdP, Penhaligon's Esprit de Lavande, vintage Quorum, and a few more.

I'll probably do a bunch of sampling this month as well, but I can't not get out a new set of bottles for the bedside table at the turn of the month. That would be poor decorating.

I have two bottles to go in my finish focus, Egoiste Concentree and Pour Monsieur, plus vintage Yatagan, and a couple recent bottlings from Chanel, Egoiste and Edition Blanche.

These two are still going strong and up for June! Bijan Men will be one of the five, playing favorites with my newest bottle. Mouchoir de Monsieur aced its test run earlier this month, and should be in the mix. Givenchy Gentleman could round out the five.
