    Nice. I don't think I've seen Kouros in a 100ml splash before.

My reading of the visual cues is that what you have may be a Parfums Corp-era bottle in a Charles of the Ritz-era box.
This assumes Andre (ROTLS) really knows his stuff with regard to the placement of "KOUROS" on the bottle, mind you.

Thank you. I don’t think so. Comparing with my Parfums era, this is much more civety and longevity is at least twice as good.

I'm just going by what it says on ROTLS. Andre seems to think the placement of the text on the bottle is a surefire indicator. On the other hand, we don't know anything about the data set on which he based that conclusion.

I take it there is no batch code?

thank you for the information. I don't see a batch code.

The striking thing about this Kouros is the civet. I have never had as much civet. And it may be real civet. I have some civet and civetone at home and this could be real civet. It is really an incredible honking amount.

It's funny. Every so often with vintage Kouros, it's as if the civet has gone rogue and taken all the other notes hostage. I guess I'm just extra sensitive to it on those days.

this is really a good description...the civet escapes and goes rogue...eventually all that was left was strong civet...not unpleasant I might add...

Nice. So, is there a batch#? If it's not on the baseplate, it should be on the back bottom of the bottle in small light print. Or punched into the bottom of the box. Ritz-bottles have the name almost dead-center on the bottle. Parfums Corp a little higher (just like on the boxes). And yes, Ritz-version smells fantastic! Personally I've always preferred the Sanofi, though. Congrats once again!

Polo Crest 2oz. Appears to be a tester; supposedly new. Don't recall ever trying this before, so blind buy I guess!

centered on the bottle. Indicates 1980. But Kouros came out in 1981. So perhaps it is a bottle released at the very beginning.
