Nice! Speaking of samples from the sync, a certain someone turned me on to this…

Lenthéric Shanghai: the "Bouquet" concentration is reportedly akin to an EDP.

And then, Sniffman made me do it:

    DeR.jpg

De Rothschild was produced by Frances Rothschild, the Texas perfumer who founded Lenel. She was awarded the gold medal at the 1979 Monde Selection in Brussels for this fragrance—the first American perfumer to be so honored. Alas, some of those better known and significantly wealthier Rothschilds forced her to remove her name from her company and fragrance due to trademark infringement.

Oh, my—with papers yet! How wonderful is that! I wonder if "Conditionneuse No 15" is still around today and if the bottle can be dated by the number. Enjoy, Earlyn, and please share your impressions.

That green juice looks sexy. Without looking up the info, does it involve oak moss?

I wouldn’t know without looking it up. It’s not in the directory, but it was included in a sample pass, and Grayspoole noted oakmoss in it.

bought this recently and got it delivered. It's reassuring that overseas deliveries are still pretty smooth.

I like this. It's a really nice aromatic fougere, with classic bones and good ingredients.

Nope. But, it was selling at a blind-buy-friendly price, so it seemed like the right time.

Chiming in from personal experience, the vintage is perfectly gender-neutral. Not so sure about the current product because although it starts out drier like the vintage, the drydown can be somewhat flowery.
