    This was actually the original launch bottle. Came in a few different versions, some with a cladded helmet over the glass head, some with the head and helmet all part of the bottle. Aftershave came in an "urn" with a frieze around it.

    I figured it had the best chance of living up to expectations set up by everything else. And, for what it costs, it damn well should.

    I’ve only just dabbed it on from my precious mini, so I have no conclusions yet. I’ll concede that it starts with great promise. I expect I’ll be very happy with it, but I doubt I’ll decide I need to spend the ludicrous sums routinely asked for a FB.

    LATER: It fulfills the promise in scent quality; longevity is on the shy side; I would love a FB, but, at north of $180/oz., I can find other ways to scratch this itch.

    It's a bit too rich for my blood and I have Pour Monsieur Cologne Concentree as my cortisone.
