    Eau de Parfum

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

This one is a vintage one that I purchased last week. Until now I had the current edt and so far I do not smell a big difference between both. As for the edp, it's a love for the edt.

What you just said there, makes it redundant for me to chase the vintage EdT, Because you're able to compare both and you have a good nose

Solid fragrance from a sorely missed era of perfumery.
I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.

Additionnal information : according to the batch numbers, my "current" bottle (silver cap) is from 2012 and the vintage I just purchased (golden cap) is from 2002. I don't know how the today Heritage EdT compares with them

    Chanel Cristalle EDT (1974)

Luca Turin in the original Guide:

"There is a businesslike briskness that suggests waking up from a night spent with a gorgeous stranger and finding her fully dressed and made up, ready to leave after nothing more than a peck on the cheek, leaving only a cloud of Cristalle as a contact address. Beautiful, and a little scary."

Precisely the impression I have always wanted to give, but never mastered.

The horizontal lines and shape of the bottle? To me it's clear as day as to share some resemblance to wings/feathers and shape of a bird.

Not sure if this below helps for visuals:

Ah, I definitely see it in Bird #6 and in the wings symbol that looks like a miltary badge.

Maybe a little bit in this guy too:
