I remember seeing this bottle in a previous post. Those are grinding marks on the back, aren't they? Too funny. I've gotten a few bottles that had had the batch code ground off. On one of my boxes of Kouros, someone had neatly cut around the batch code and taped over the resulting hole with dark tape. I figured some protocol required it, maybe related to unsold inventory, but it seems like a lot of trouble to go through.

My guess is it was address info or note info because these are tester bottles. I have a retail bottle this size and the info on that one is put on a label placed on the bottom of the bottle.

this is a working pressurized bottle. It's so heartbreakingly nice that I bought a backup bottle. Love it.

Bel Ami with good coffee. A Saturday morning tradition.

The coffee: Yemen Haraaz, medium roast, sourced through Sump in St. Louis, brewed with Aeropress (inverted method)

There are other bottle designs, especially the one that is angular like two triangles...I'm not sure if that is newer or older than the ones we have...or if it matters. I bought one and will test it out eventually.

In honor of Sniffman, this will be my holiday weekend trio. Any irony of wearing Kings Men for Independence Day is purely coincidental.

I’ll be wearing them left to right, so I’m starting with Kings Men Cologne:

Perhaps not really vintage yet, however with increasingly limited availability (especially on mid to late 2000s versions like the one currently worn)

But they left the batch code alone? That's the thing that seems most odd to me. I mean, I'm happy to have the juice, but I'd still be interested to know the thinking behind the obliteration of the batch code.
