The good news: Dana Emir EdC rocks. Though marketed as a feminine, it's butch as all get-out.
The bad news: The atomizer ain't workin'. Gonna have to see if I can unclog what appears to be a stopped-up nozzle.
Emir is great, isn’t it? And yes, it’s most definitely unisex! A little alcohol on a cotton bud should help if it’s just a clogged atomizer.

Jungle L'Elephant (1996) by Dominique Ropion for Kenzo

It's so odd that I would love this spicy monster, with my general anti-orientalist attitude. It's like an entire Middle Eastern spice caravan took a wrong turn and paraded right into a tiki bar, where they all ordered Prunol mai-tais.

I’m going to try the cotton swab, and maybe upend the sprayer and pour a little alcohol into the tube as well.

I bought both for my wife, but she prefers the Emir on me, so I’ll liberate the atomizer for one of her faves (if we can get it to work): probably Opium or Mitsouko, since she has lots of both and that atomizer is on the large size.

I figure 10 years is enough to count when it's been discontinued. Just got in Chanel's 31 Rue Cambon EDT. I only smelled the EDP before and loved it. It's been one of the haunting perfumes that no matter how much I've liked a perfume in the moment I've not forgotten about it. This one is fantastic too. Also thinking about maybe picking up Ho Hang Club again. I sold that one off, but who knows I still think about it.

This perfume is interesting, the facsimile of oakmoss does exist within without containing oakmoss or as far as I know any oakmoss replacers.

    Etienne Aigner Sport Fragrance

As Cevenol noted in his review, the initial blast of citrus with the underlying pine veers a tad close to cleaning fluid, but it's more than saved by the herbs, florals, and chypre base. Once it settles down, it warms up nicely. It's no longevity king, but it makes for a good, bracing alternative to more classic Eaux de Cologne, without falling into the "freshie" trap. I don't think it's worth today's $75/100ml eBay price, but it was certainly worth the $25 I paid for my bottle.

I've been sampling Pascal Morabito Or Black and Or Black Sport. This is a great pair. I love the two takes on the theme. These are on par with Antaeus and Antaeus Sport or Kourous Eau de Sport and Kouros Fraicheur.

With Sport Fragrance pretty much gone after 6 hours, I switched to Etienne Aigner Free Life for the SOTE. FL swaps SF's piney astringency for amping up the patchouli and enriching the base with amber and sandalwood. As the name implies, it's an easy-breezy wear, and while not especially original, it smells way better than it looks. (That bottle looks like an assassination attempt on Aigner fragrances.)

I haven’t but I’ve read about it and think most preferred parfum to the EDT.
On first wearing I’m enjoying the EDT and the dry down is especially nice.
There’s going to be a parfum mini in my cupboard soon to compare.

I ask because my understanding is that Must de Cartier parfum and EdT are different scents by different perfumers, and I wondered what relationship, if any, you perceived between them.
