Earlyn, apologies for not taking up the challenge. It did look off to me, but there is so much I don’t know.

There was a Patou-Lacoste collaboration, I think, so I thought it could have been something like that. That’s a great name for a fake. I love the audacity of hiding in plain sight, like the Givenchy indecency flanker.

It fits the bill. Such good vibes.

Is that a newer bottle? I have no idea. I just know the conical one is the newest (not counting the Collection Heritage edition).

AFAIK, the blue cap cylinder bottle came in between yours and the conical one. But I have no idea of the dates of any of those changes.

I'm on Giorgio for Men for a third day. I'm coming down from the intensity of the bonding on the first day, the infatuation losing its fevered edge.

Hey. It's a little unusual for an Eau, I think. I don't get a whole lot of citrus. It's there, but there's not much of a blast in the opening. This bottle is nearly 40 years old, so it's probably not as zesty as it once was. It has vanilla and light florals, and a smokiness that reminds me of incense, rather than tobacco. Maybe some leather? It could be that I have a blind spot of sorts when it comes to leather notes, because I rarely find them where I am supposed to. The overall texture is sort of creamy and resinous. not something I've experienced in another Eau.
