I have the odd “bucket,” including vintage Dior Eau Sauvage and Dunhill Blend 30, probably a couple more that aren’t coming to mind. Makes sense for something that knocks you out, but you’re not getting bang for the buck if you’re not going to wear the heck out of it (unless you’re into selling splits/decants).

I have quite a few - many Dior Privees, all my Atelier Colognes, an Armani Prive and others I can't recall at this time.

I only own two that size, for my top two favorite scents of all: Chanel Sycomore (old EDT version) and Eau d'Hermes coppertop version.

I don't currently own any 200 ml bottles but I did own one bottle of Eau de Cartier in that size and I did finish the bottle. A light summer scent that I kept on repeat spraying throughout the day.

I have two 250-ml splashes: Chanel Egoiste and Chanel Bois Noir. I have sprays of both, too. They’re meant to last decades.

I have a couple 150-ml sprays: Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche edp and Dior Homme edt. Those are the four big bottles.

I like, specially fresh scents or scents that doesn’t last long like Eau de Cartier. I have Eau de Cartier (2x 200ml), Eau de Rochas Pour Homme, Prada Infusion D’Homme, Balade Sauvage, CK One and Be and Colonia Pura. May be missing something.

I have Acqua di Giò pour Homme in a 200ml size, because it's a frequent fresh after shower kind of deal.

I only have 1, Acqua di Giò pour Homme, 200 ml. If I could do it again I think I'd buy 2 3.4 oz bottles though. I don't like those big bottles. 4.2 oz is the biggest that feels right in my hand generally. 50ml feel like baby bottles, 200 is just a little too big for me to handle comfortably.

Over the years I invested in a bunch of green Creed 250ml flacons that I can decant into glass atomizers.

The current lineup does contain at least a Heritage bottle in this particular size and another even larger sized Caron pour un Homme - surprisingly or not, they were not that expensive, at least not as relative/absolute price per ml and thus did not require too substantial, high worth, longer term etc. savings

Own a few Dior Privees. I also own a extra large bottle of Ambre Precieux I got for a steal.

    there's no point -- I very rarely finish a 100ml

    Also, aesthetically, they are vulgar

I had a gift certificate for like $75 at Saks, so I bought a 250ml bottle of Christian Dior Bois d'Argent because it's so versatile and easy to wear. It's one that I'll easily never want to be out of and that I know will almost always be appropriate.

I also have a 250ml of Christian Dior Vetiver because that's the only option for that particular fragrance. Luckily, it's very versatile, as well. Also, the huge size is nice since if I ever run out I have to go to Paris for another.

    Hmmm, let's see .....

    all 200 ml -

    Sycomore EdT
    Bel Respiro EdT
    Fahrenheit EdT

    all 250 ml -

    Leather Oud
    Eau Noire
    Granville

Ideally I would want to have a litre of vintage Kouros, Rive Gauche pour Homme and also Paco Rabanne pour Homme.

The only real biggie I have is TDC Osmanthus in a 250ml bottle.

I also have a few Chanels, Bois des Iles, Cuir de Russie, and 28 La Pausa, but I only really bought the 200ml size was because there was no other option at the time.

At this point, I have so many bottles that even buying a 100ml bottle seems excessive.

Sounds like a goal for 2020!

All of my big bottle are, I think, Dior:

    125ml Bois d'Argent
    250ml Mitzah
    200ml Fahrenheit Cologne
    150ml Homme
    150ml Homme Intense
    150ml Homme Eau for Men
200ml Eau Sauvage Parfum (two bottles of this)

Some Dior counters have very small numbers of the big bottles available in my experience. They're easy enough to find online too from reputable sources.

I have a 200 ml bottle of CK One Shock because it is a common size for that scent. In hindsight i would prefer a smaller bottle. I also have a 180 ml splash of vintage Faberge Cavale which will probably be there forever unless I offload it somehow. I much prefer 50 ml bottles as the prospect of actually finishing a bottle appeals to me.

What many here fail to appreciate is that you only realize the savings when you finish the big bottle or offload to someone else at cost. For many of us that’s a big IF. But don’t feel too bad; many apparently smart people often fall for this old marketing ploy to squeeze as much money as you can from customers. Try to see the pricier per ml smaller bottle for what it truly is - a set up.

I have a few in super size, mainly those I know I will use up/decant for friends & family, etc or where the large size was cheaper than other sizes or where the scent is being discontinued:

    - AdP Sandalo (180ml)
    - Creed Aventus (250ml)
    - Creed Selection Verte (250ml - only size it comes in)
    - MFK Amyris Homme Edt (200ml)

I do have multiple bottles of other scents though but not in larger sizes.

I have a few Chanel and Dior bottles that size, plus a few Tom Ford Decanter bottles. I just love the look of big bottles, don’t care about emptying them (although all but one of the TF decanter bottles are now empty).
