Love Jodie Whittaker in her role as Dr. Who!
Also enjoyed watching her sing in the recent series
where several celebrities recorded a song for charity.

I am struggling to get around this weekend as I have
a painful heel and can't put any weight on it. I am walking on tiptoe
on that side! I am self-diagnosing it
as plantur fasciitis. I wil see my GP if it doesn't improve in a few
    weeks time.

    My SOTD is Lolita Lempicka.

    My SOTD is

Thumbs up Re: SOTD: Sunday, 5th January, 2020

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Must be some fine air and water in Denby Dale to cultivate such splendid representatives.

No scent yet. The 3 of us are languishing on the couch with plans to visit the dog park eventually.

Sympathies on the heel, kewart. Had PF for a couple years long ago.

Kewart, get well soon! Kewart's heel, please heal and quit hurting!

I also love Doctor Who, but haven't watched it after 11th Doctor died/reincarnated, as I felt too connected to his Doctor (but I also was too connected to the 10th before falling in love with 11th too, so maybe I should just stop being grumpy about missing the 9th, 10th and 11th and just sit and start watching again!)

My morning scent was Frescaessenza by L'Erbolario topped with some Pink Grapefruit by The Body Shop. I did some housework, and now I'm off to the pool to swim and relax a bit. When I come back, I'll change into Bapteme du feu by Serge Lutens - my latest gift for me from me that I wanted for quite a while now - and will be off to play some tabletop games with friends.
    Have a nice Sunday!

    Hello all,

I’m wearing Tam Dao again today. I’m painting the home office a refreshing white color today. House painting is one of my hobbies. I combine it with another hobby: music listening. Lately, I’m into early Brian Eno. Great painting music!

Kewart, I wish you a speedy recovery. Pain and reduced mobility are no fun.

    Have a good day,
Note to self: Choose being kind over being right, and you’ll be right every time.

    Hermès Amazone (1974)

I thought my bottle of this was starting to turn, but then I read that Teardrop experienced that bitter note that faded once it reached the mid-phase. Still, I can't say that I really love it. I wish it lived up to its name more.

Kewart, I've had plantar fasciitis and it's no fun. One thing that really helped me was stretching exercises for the calf and the foot arch. But even so it took weeks to go away. (Also I had to stop going barefoot so much, which I almost always did while at home.)

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile! I’m wearing Hermès Elixir des Merveilles today.

A lot has been happening to me since my last post in April ... I had a small aneurysm in my brain rupture in April and the bleeding caused a stroke. I was extremely lucky in that it didn’t cause any physical problems. I can move everything and speak but my short-term memory was affected. Things are getting a better, and I’m so very thankful that things were not worse! I ended up spending about 6 weeks in the hospital and rehab hospital and I don’t remember very much of it. I’m not back to work yet ... not sure if I will be going back. I have not been keeping up with the perfume world at all. I have not heard about any new releases but I guess that will change if I spend much time here! I have missed it though ... but I couldn’t remember my password to anything. It took a little time to sort all of that out. It will be interesting to see if my fragrance preferences have changed at all. I’m planning on getting reacquainted with my favorites and my collection before going too crazy with new purchases. It’s good to be back! I’m a very lucky girl and forever grateful.
    I've trademarked the color bleu
