So Im still stocking up on stuff and I think I pretty much hit most of them on the head, but I think I like animalic fragrances. Any suggestions on what to get/look for?

    I strongly recommend these 3...

    Monsieur Lanvin
    Jicky vtg
    Bal e Versailles

    And...
    Kouros
    Ungaro ii
    Rien
    Shocking
    My sin

From newer lot - Serge Lutens MKK, Slumberhouse Sova, Salome, Maai, Leather Oud and Cuir de Arabie are awesome.

Serge MKK, Maai and Salome I have to agree with.

I’d add big thumbs up for The Lover’s Tale by Francesca Bianchi(animalic Leather) as well as her Under My Skin.

If you like Oud and Musk, I’d check out Oud Maximus 19 by Bortnikoff.

    Great examples

    I would add

    Furyo
    Krizia Teatro alla Scala
Pre 80's Chanel Cuir de Russie
    Bugatti 1992
    Eau d'Hermes

    Mazzolari Lui
    JSP Burvuvu
    Papillon Salome

Areej le Dore perfumes many are Animalic. For me Koh I Noor, is like, being consumed by, an enormously Feminine, Venus Flytrap.
Scarcity is an illusion. Unlearn it.

Hermes' Eau de Hermes is one not to be missed.

Likewise YSL Kouros (the older the bottle, the more animalic the scent) and MFK's APLS if you are up for a real stinker.

I'm loving Oud Maximus Autumn 19', fantastic stuff with more than enough oud for me!!

I think the strongest, loudest, boldest animalic scent ever was "Monsieur Lanvin". Magnificent and almost unbearable

Most of Francesca Bianchi's creations. Areej le Dore is another one.

So I received some of the ones that I bought today... I received:

Furyo - Not that impressed, Kouros is WAY stronger/better than this. Little put down on this one since its talked about so much.
Krizia Teatro alla Scala - Too feminine for me, but smells decent. Have to try it solely one day to judge it.
Trussardi Uomo - NOT what I expected from my 5ml sample I bought a while back. Maybe its a fake, do they fake these?

Trussardi Uomo was significantly reformulated. If you sampled the old and bought the new (or vice-versa), that would account for your reaction.

+1. Vintage and current TU are like two different fragrances. Current (since 2011) is synthetic and excrusiatingly metallic. Almost smells like Chrome with a synthetic sweet wanna-be leather note. They should've just discontinued it instead.

Mine is the alligator style bottle, has a seam around the sides where it looks like the plastic is snapped around the glass bottle. The grayhound is large on the front and the bottom says made in Italy.

The significant part of that is the greyhound, which for vintage should be a left-facing profile of the head. Later bottles replaced that with a dual greyhound crest design.
