I’m wearing SL Sarrasins today. I tend to wear Sarrasins more in the Spring, but it caught my eye today. It fits in well with the bright sunshine and chilly temperatures.

I just love this one and it is definitely on my wish list!
    I've trademarked the color bleu

Thanks, teardrop! I’m working on it too, especially being less critical of others (and of myself).

I was lurking around on and off the whole day and forgot to chime in!

Jon, congrats on your milestone - way to go!

Trilby Lark, just like teardrop I also find your new signature inspiring and beautiful. I always stop to think for a minute every time I see it. It's just so true. And for such a miss right as me there's never enough reminders that actually choosing to be kind more often is, well, right. Thank you for this daily inspiration to become a better person.

As for the scent of the day - today I'm happily drowning in Shalimar, my newly found glory. There's quite a story about how I read a lot about Shalimar when I started to be more serious about perfumes, fell in love with the idea of it and with the list of the notes which seemed just perfect for me and almost blind bought it from a local discounter - I was sure I'd love it - but something stopped me, and later I went to another store to test it. And the horrors! The scent was vile as seven hells on my skin, full of dusty bugspray, dusty wardrobe and dusty dirty unwashed people hanging out in a dusty wardrobe full of bugspray and maybe a hint of dusty vanilla somewhere in the corner... And it wasn't nearly that bad on the paper! I was mortified and relieved at once - because what a disastrous blind buy this could have been! There was a small thought lingering in the back of my head that maybe something is not right - it could be true that my skin just turns it into a nightmare, but maybe I just need to revisit the scent after some time and maybe I can appreciate it better later, or maybe the bottle in the store was not exactly right... Fast forward a year, and I gather enough strength to try it out on my skin again in a different store - and I am shocked once again - this time by how GLORIOUS it actually is. I... I'm not sure now if the bottle I tried the first time was actually turned, or did my nose change that much, or if it's a bit of both. But what I know is that I just went to the discounter and got myself a bottle of it the next day. It is still glorious.
I can only imagine how good it was in the last century though - but I'm not going into that rabbit hole.
