    Default Describe your perfect perfume...

Hello friends, I am working on a research paper regarding buying behavior of perfumes. I need your help and your thoughts! Any response would be helpful. Thanks so much in advance!

    1. Describe your perfect perfume: You can include anything from scent, buying experience, memories, packaging, etc:

    2. Is a perfume brand important for you? Would you buy a perfume brand that you never heard of?

    Again, thanks a million!

There is no perfect fragrance IMO. There are some great ones though. Brand is not a big deal, what smells good is. I would purchase a fragrance I never heard of. Took that chance a few times ago. A bit more conservative these days.

It's free, smells awesome and only a couple of people know about it.

An almost straight natural lime scented cologne that lasts for at least 6 hours and projects very well for at least a few of those hours..Unfortunately something like that does not exist to my knowledge.

Hi Hednic, it seems you've a clear idea about what is your perfect perfume...
But are you sure it's gonna match with your personal characteristics?

I take it these are the notes of Genghis Khan.

I'm conflicted. One of the best overall, in my collection, including longevity, etc. is vintage Antaeus.

Sometimes something like Guerlain Sous le Vent smells like the perfect fragrance, or Chanel Cuir de Russie.

Other times, something else seems perfect - I've hardly worn any of those in the last year.

nothing is ever perfect. But Creed Aventus comes pretty close in terms of longevity/sillage/projection/smell. There are many others that are just as good. Mont Blanc Legend Intense (discontinued very sadly) would be another.

I'm not surprised by it at all... I also have hednic's favorite scents memorized.

    Agree with this.

    Personal favorites are completely subjective.
