Such good advice HOP, and sorry to hear that news.

    Aw, thank you, darling!

And today's visit to the shops to get new jeans and leggings (because my favourite ones are already worn to holes!) and do some quick perfume testing is dedicated to tdem, because I really wanted to sniff Parfum Sacre for a while! And yes, it is very beautiful. It's very lightly spicy, but also almost milky on my skin - very cozy and dream-like! It also seems to be quite subtle on me, almost a skin scent, but seems very persistent and long lasting - both qualities are a big plus in my book. I will not get out of my way to get it as I have other priorities for quite a while, but every time tdem or any one of you posts about wearing Parfum Sacre, I will know for sure that she smells gorgeous!

I also have sniffed through several Diptyques and I think Eau Duelle is my favourite so far. And I also re-tested my two favourite Juliette Has A Gun Scents (Mad Madame and Lady Vengeance), and I still like them both. I think I'll keep re-testing them from time to time to see what I think after a while. For now they aren't on my to-buy list either, I think I have enough perfume for now. Maybe some day.

Oh, what a tragedy - my heart goes out to all involved! HoP, very wise words indeed!

I wore Mon Guerlain EDP Intense.

I grabbed a sample of Prada Candy Gloss so that is my SOTD. With a name like that, you would be expecting a high-sugar sweet bomb ... but it’s not really. It has a sour-ish cherry note that reminds me of some hard candy cherry drops I have had. I like the tart cherry note a lot.

    Have a great day everyone!

So late today, I was reading and didn't want to stop. I'm wearing Rihanna Reb'l Fleur, gifted to me by my thrift-store-fragrance-hunting friend. It reminds me quite a lot of Angel Muse.
If you can't smell me from six feet away, I'm not wearing enough.

I sampled the earlier formulation many years ago, I remember enjoying it. My favorite to date is Irisss.

Armani Privé Ambre Soie today, for the first time in ages! I don't wear it nearly often enough, so I offered it to my hubby, but I'll grab a spritz on the rare occasion that I am in the mood for it.

    Reb'l Fleur is actually nice!
It's more like Black Opium than Angel Muse to my nose, but I guess it's mostly its own thing, quite a lovely gourmand.

Your words about telling our loved ones to take care and tell them how much we appreciate them everyday are very wise.

Trilby Lark, enjoy your retreat! We'll be waiting for you. I'm sure the time spent there will bring you calm and inspiration.

Teardrop, I would be lying if I said that you didn't inspire Me to look up Samsara! I'm very glad and thankful that I did!
And I'm enjoying my new cut and colour, thank you. I went for a simple Bob, and left my natural dark brown at the roots with the light ombre that goes to burgundy/dark cherry colour to my ends. The deep and cold toned burgundy suits me well. I'm happy with how it turned out.

    Wearing Terre de Lumiere today.

    Your hair coloring sounds beautiful!

I believe this employee was a newbie or at least hasn't been on the short line very long. News travels slowly and is rather hushed, when it comes to injuries. We don't even know if he survived the accident.
