Default Nice but cheap office fragrance

    Hello,

Could you give me some suggestions on a good but cheap office fragrance all year around?
What I mean is a clean, inoffensive but "serious" or "professional" scent. I dont like over masculine fragrances (prefer lighter/subtle ones)

I'm about to get a signature scent, ordered some samples but this could cost me somewhat. I work in a office but thought to get a good but cheap fragrance that i could quickly grab when i've a meeting or a job interview.

I test Guerlain vetiver, didn't like the opening but the drydown was quite ok. When i was younger i used to like the classic boss bottle
Maybe Montblanc explorer ? I don't want to spend more than 50$ for 50ml

    Cheers

Montblanc Explorer is a great one to go with. Acua Di Gio Profumo would work as well.

It’s tragic to think that heroic man’s great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.

All really great recommendations. Other well priced easy wears are Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Cologne and Versace Dylan Blue.

Thanks for all the tips! Unfortunately I can't try laliques brand, since its nomewhere to find in my store. Is it a US brand? Same with the tommy Bahama suggestion. Last thing, Prada fragrances (although very nice) and acqua di gio profumo are a bit over budget (can't find any 50ml for less than 55€ (59$)

L'Eau D'issey Pour Homme can work as well. It's widely available in discounted retailers.

The post you linked to has a nice catch-all list, but I imagine it’s a little intimidating for some. I tend to get the most out of posts with some explanation as to why a particular fragrance was chosen.

If I had to recommend one, this thread by Buysblind is one of my favorites at helping beginners find a fragrance on the cheap.

More on topic: I’ll second Mont Blanc Legend.

    Good luck OP.

You’re likely going to find the best prices/selection online.

As long as I’m plugging Buysblind’s other thread, check out his treatise on Fragrancenet.

Everyone is different but I completely disagree with Lalique White. No way is it a blind buy safe fragrance even at the price. It's not that it's offensive, to me it is just a bit crap. Only saying for balance here.

Hi all, thanks again for so many recommendations!
Here is the list of fragrance that fit my price range and that i can test in some stores (i don't like to blind buy :/)

    Montblanc Explorer or Legend
    Azzaro pour homme
    Boucheron Pour Homme
    Lanvin l"homme
    l'Eau d'Issey
    Mugler Cologne
Guerlain vetiver, instant or eau boisee
    Burberry London
    Dunhill Icon

The rest suggested are either unavailable to test, or a little too expensive (like the Bvlgari's or Prada's)
